Chairs and death effects are the two main cosmetic lines in Hide In Pixels, the Roblox blending game where you paint your character to match a pixel-art picture and freeze before the other player spots you. Both sets live in the lobby, and you pick them up either by spending in-game cash you earn from rounds or by hitting specific free unlock conditions.

Quick answer: Buy chairs and deaths from the podium rows in the lobby using in-game cash, grab the Secret rainbow chair by winning 3 games, and claim the Ocean Chair free once the game passes 1,000 likes.

Where the cosmetic stations are

Everything you can buy sits in the lobby, not inside a round. Walk along the platforms and you will see two labeled rows of podiums. One row is marked CHAIRS and holds the seat cosmetics, the other is marked DEATHS and holds the death effects. Each item stands on its own podium with a floating nameplate above it and a proximity prompt that reads “Buy – $[amount]”.

To buy anything, walk up to the podium until the prompt appears, then trigger it. The cost is paid in the cash you collect from playing matches, so you earn toward these items by winning rounds and building a streak.

Chairs and their cash prices

Seven chairs line the CHAIRS row, running from a cheap entry seat up to premium picks. Prices climb steadily, so the first one is easy to afford after a few wins while the top two take a long cash grind.

Light$400
Zen$900
Aura$1,800
Time$3,500
Pulse$6,000
Plasma$10,000

Light at $400 is the cheapest, so aim for it first if you just want to replace the default seat. Ritual at $15,000 is the most expensive chair in the row.

Death effects and their cash prices

The DEATHS row works the same way. These are the effects that play when your character is eliminated, and there are five of them.

Bloom$600
Chronos$4,000
Prismatic$8,000

Void$15,000

Bloom at $600 is the entry death effect, while Void at $15,000 matches the Ritual chair as the priciest cosmetic in its row.

Two free chairs you can unlock without cash

Beyond the paid rows, there are two chairs you unlock through milestones instead of money. Both are free once their conditions are met.

Secret rainbow chair (3 wins)

In the lobby there is a prompt labeled “SECRET ITEM!” with the requirement “Get 3 wins!” and a progress counter that starts at 0/3. Win three games and the counter fills, letting you claim the rainbow-bordered secret chair through its CLAIM button. This one is tied to your own progress, so only you need to win the three rounds.

Ocean Chair (1,000 likes)

The Ocean Chair sits on a floating platform and is a community reward. It unlocks for everybody once the game reaches 1,000 likes. The platform shows a live progress banner, and its prompt confirms that the chair stays locked until that total is hit, reading “Not yet. Get the game to 1000 likes and the Ocean Chair unlocks for everybody!”

Because the Ocean Chair depends on the whole game’s like count rather than your own play, pressing the like button on the experience page helps push the total toward the threshold.

The Glitch Pack (Robux)

On the center platform there is a separate purchase prompt for the “[LIMITED] Glitch Pack”, priced at 79 Robux. Unlike the chairs and deaths, this one costs Robux rather than in-game cash. The pack bundles troll tools you use against your opponent, including FART ALL, JUMPSCARE and NUKE SERVER.

How to confirm an item is yours

For paid chairs and deaths, the purchase goes through when you have enough cash and trigger the Buy prompt. The item then becomes selectable as your active cosmetic. For the secret chair, the CLAIM button becomes available only after the counter reads 3/3, and claiming it adds the rainbow chair to your collection. The Ocean Chair appears for everyone automatically once the like total crosses 1,000, with no manual claim needed beyond selecting it. If a prompt still shows “Not yet”, the like goal has not been reached and the chair stays locked for the whole server.
