Letting an Anomaly inside drops your Sanity meter, which starts at 100. If Sanity reaches 0, the run ends. There are three tools for judging a visitor before you commit.

- Open the laptop in the front room and check the cameras, switching on night vision to expose changes.

You will know your decisions are landing when your money climbs toward $180 without Sanity dropping. Learn the normal layout of the house early, keep a repeatable route between the door, the laptop, and the rooms each visitor references, and every check above becomes a fast yes-or-no call.
