Horde Thrown Weapons Trainer Location in Orgrimmar (World of Warcraft)

Horde characters learn the Thrown weapon skill in Orgrimmar, inside a building called Arms of Legend at the back of the Valley of Honor. Two Weapon Masters stand there together, and either one can teach you the proficiency for a small fee.

Quick answer: Go to the Arms of Legend building in Orgrimmar’s Valley of Honor (81.5, 19.6), speak to Hanashi or Sayoc, and buy Thrown for 10 silver.

Who can learn Thrown

Thrown is a class-restricted skill. Only Warriors, Hunters, and Rogues can use thrown weapons, and Rogues already have the skill by default when they create a character. If you play a Warrior or Hunter and want to use throwing knives or throwing axes, you need to visit a Weapon Master to unlock the proficiency.

Trolls receive a small racial bonus to critical strikes with thrown weapons, which makes the skill especially handy for Troll Warriors and Hunters.

How to reach the trainer in Orgrimmar

Travel to Orgrimmar and head for the Valley of Honor, which sits in the northeastern quarter of the city. Open your map to confirm you are moving toward the correct district.

Inside the Valley of Honor, walk to the building marked Arms of Legend and step through its large doorway. The two Weapon Masters are stationed inside.

Talk to either Hanashi or Sayoc and pick the dialogue line “I would like some weapon training.” A menu of available skills opens.

Select Thrown and confirm the purchase for 10 silver. The entry reads “Allows you to attack with thrown weapons.”

Hanashi vs Sayoc: what each teaches

Both trainers teach Thrown, so it does not matter which one you use for that skill. They differ in the other proficiencies they offer, which is useful if you want to train more than one weapon type in the same trip.

The one meaningful split is that Hanashi covers Staves while Sayoc adds Fist Weapons and Daggers. Every weapon skill here costs 10 silver, matching the standard training price across the game.

How to confirm you learned it

After you pay the 10 silver, Thrown appears under Weapon Skills in your character sheet and you can equip a thrown weapon in your ranged slot. To actually throw one, place the “Throw” ability from your spellbook onto your action bar and keep throwing knives or axes in the ranged slot. If the option still shows as unavailable, make sure a thrown weapon is equipped in that slot.
