Suisui is a 5-star Glacio Rectifier who arrives in the second half of Wuthering Waves Version 3.5 as a support and healer built around Negative Status teams. She heals off HP, applies Glacio Chafe, and hands your carry a stack of damage buffs that scale with her Energy Regen. The catch is that almost none of her big buffs turn on until she clears a hard Energy Regen threshold, so the way you gear her matters more than usual.
Quick answer: Build Suisui for Energy Regen first (target around 260%, and never below 200%), then stack HP% and Healing Bonus. Run her with Firstlight’s Herald, the Song of Feathered Trace echo set with a Forbidden Bastion main echo, and pair her with a Negative Status carry like Yangyang Xuanling or Hiyuki.
What Suisui does on a team
Suisui fills the healer slot, but she is not a one-button support. She heals through HP scaling, applies Glacio Chafe on several skills, and buffs your carry in three separate ways. Her Outro grants the whole team 25% All DMG Amplification for 30 seconds, her Resonance Liberation raises Negative Status stack limits, and her top-tier Outro tiers convert her Energy Regen into a large ATK boost for the incoming Resonator.

Her field, Ceaseless Landscape, is what makes her flexible. It lifts the stack limit of Spectro Frazzle, Fusion Burst, Glacio Chafe, and Aero Erosion by 3, does the same for Electro Flare and Electro Rage, and lets Havoc Bane teams ignore 6% enemy DEF and 12% Havoc RES. That covers nearly every Negative Status archetype in the game.
She also carries two safety-net passives. Sky Over Water heals allies over time once they consume Enrichment, and Glimmering Gold cancels a fatal blow on a teammate once every 10 minutes, healing them for 50% of Suisui’s current HP while she pays the same amount (she cannot drop below 1 HP).

Add to Google Preferences →The Energy Regen rule that shapes her whole build
Suisui’s strongest Outro buffs only scale on Energy Regen above 200%. Below that line, the damage and ATK formulas simply do not activate, so 200% is a floor rather than a goal. To actually maximize both tiers, aim for around 260% Energy Regen. Once you clear that, extra points feed straight into your carry’s damage.
The payoff sits inside her Outro Skill, Rippling Waters. The buffs unlock in tiers based on how much Floral Epistle she consumes when she swaps out.
| Floral Epistle spent | Effect for the incoming carry |
|---|---|
| 0+ | Team gains Reflecting Shadows for 6s (interruption resistance) |
| 400+ | +0.2% DMG per 1% Energy Regen over 200%, up to 12% |
| 600+ | ATK increase when consuming status stacks: +0.1% per 0.12% Energy Regen over 200%, up to 50% |
Hitting 600 Floral Epistle is the difference between a working Suisui and an optimized one, since only then does the carry get both the damage amp and the big ATK steroid.
How her two stances and rotation work
Suisui runs on a two-stance loop, and you have to play both halves to get her value. Understanding it makes the gear choices obvious.
- Zephyr Stance is her default. Normal Attacks and Dodge Counters build Cloud Breath, up to 120 points.
- Drizzle Stance is her enhanced state and lasts 15 seconds. Attacks now build Floral Epistle, up to 600 points, and her stage-4 Basic Attack applies Glacio Chafe. All Floral Epistle clears when the stance ends, so every point must be spent inside that window.
Best weapons for Suisui
Every option here is a Rectifier, and Energy Regen is the stat that matters most. Her signature is excellent but not mandatory, because a cheap 4-star can still push her past the 200% floor.
| Weapon | Rarity | Why it works |
|---|---|---|
| Firstlight’s Herald | 5-star | 77.04% Energy Regen, +12% HP, Concerto restore, and a Kingfisher ATK buff for the team. Best in slot. |
| Stellar Symphony | 5-star | 77.04% Energy Regen, HP boost, and a team ATK buff on healing skills. A clean stat stick. |
| Variation | 4-star | 51.84% Energy Regen and Concerto restore. The cheapest path to the threshold. |
| Call of the Abyss | 4-star | 51.84% Energy Regen with a Healing Bonus boost on Liberation cast. |
Best echoes, main stats, and substats
Song of Feathered Trace is her home set. The 2-piece adds 10% Energy Regen, and the 5-piece triggers Chongming’s Feather when she inflicts Glacio Chafe, granting the team up to 25% ATK scaling off her Energy Regen. Since she applies Glacio Chafe throughout her rotation, this stays up reliably. If you have not farmed it yet, Rejuvenating Glow (Healing Bonus plus a 15% team ATK buff on heal) or Moonlit Clouds (Energy Regen plus a 22.5% Outro ATK buff) both cover her well.
For the main echo, Forbidden Bastion is the pick, since it grants 10% Healing Bonus to the equipped Resonator. Fallacy of No Return works as the alternative if you are running Rejuvenating Glow.
| Slot (Cost) | Main stat |
|---|---|
| 4-Cost | Healing Bonus or HP% |
| 3-Cost | Energy Regen |
| 3-Cost | Energy Regen (or Glacio DMG Bonus once you have hit your threshold) |
| 1-Cost | HP% |
| 1-Cost | HP% |
For substats, follow this order: Energy Regen > HP% > Flat HP > Crit DMG > Crit Rate. Keep rolling Energy Regen until you reach your breakpoint, then lean into HP for stronger heals and survivability. Personal damage stats are not a priority, since she is on the team for buffs, healing, and Glacio Chafe.
Skill leveling priority
Unlock her Inherent Skills first, because they drive her healing and energy generation. After that, level toward her team utility rather than her personal damage.
| Priority | Skill |
|---|---|
| 1 | Inherent Skills |
| 2 | Resonance Liberation |
| 3 | Forte Circuit |
| 4 | Resonance Skill |
| 5 | Intro / Outro |
| 6 | Basic Attack |
Best teams for Suisui
Suisui slots into any of the five major Negative Status teams. If your team already runs Shorekeeper or Verina, she can take the healer seat and add far more buffing on top. Her ceiling is highest next to carries who consume status stacks, since that feeds her Outro ATK buff.
| Team type | Main DPS | Sub-DPS | Support |
|---|---|---|---|
| Havoc Bane (best) | Yangyang Xuanling | Chisa | Suisui |
| Glacio Chafe | Hiyuki | Lucilla | Suisui |
| Fusion Burst | Aemeath | Denia | Suisui |
| Aero Erosion | Cartethyia | Ciaccona | Suisui |
| Spectro Frazzle | Zani | Phoebe | Suisui |
The Yangyang Xuanling team is her premium option. Yangyang consumes status stacks, which triggers Suisui’s ATK buff, while Suisui hands the sisters DEF and Havoc RES ignore through Ceaseless Landscape. In the Glacio Chafe team, she replaces Chisa as Hiyuki’s third slot and funnels buffs alongside Lucilla, who shreds Glacio RES.
Note: The Fusion Burst team leans hardest on her first Resonance Chain, since burst carries want the unconditional ATK buff that S1 unlocks.
Which Resonance Chains are worth pulling
Suisui follows a standard healer-support Resonance Chain layout, and the early nodes carry the most weight. S0 already makes her a strong two-cost support you can keep on the bench for almost any team.
| Chain | Effect |
|---|---|
| S1 | Removes the condition on her ATK buff, letting her buff nearly any Negative Status carry. Also adds interruption resistance. |
| S2 | Grants the effect team a 50% Crit DMG bonus. |
| S3 | Speeds up Concerto generation for smoother rotations. |
| S4 | Adds Healing Bonus for stronger sustain. |
| S5 | Increases her personal damage. |
| S6 | Large Crit DMG bonus to her own skills. |
S1 is the key upgrade for burst and effect teams, and S2’s Crit DMG boost is the next most valuable node. A reasonable pull path is S0 for most players, then S1 if you want her to buff any carry, then S2 to maximize her support ceiling.
If you are debating her signature against her chains, the first Resonance Chain is often the smarter buy for players who want her across many teams. You can run Variation as the weapon and grab S1 instead, since it lifts the condition on her ATK buff that the signature alone does not remove.
Suisui rewards players who commit to her rotation rather than treating her as a passive healer. Get her Energy Regen where it needs to be, land your Floral Epistle stacks before every swap, and she turns any Negative Status carry into a genuine hyper-carry while keeping the whole team alive.
