The Shrouded Sky update for ARC Raiders (patch 1.17.0) launched on February 24, 2026, and alongside the new Hurricane map condition, two new ARC enemies, and a Dam Battlegrounds overhaul, Embark Studios dropped a pair of quests that reward free gadgets. Both quests tie into the Shrouded Sky event and expand on the game’s lore, particularly around the character Bilguun. Completing them doesn’t take long, but the multi-step objectives in each can be easy to miss if you don’t know where to look.
Quick answer: The two Shrouded Sky quests are Stable Housing (on Stella Montis) and Keeping an Eye Out (on Blue Gate). Stable Housing rewards 5 Lure Grenades, 5 Seeker Grenades, and 1 Snap Hook. Keeping an Eye Out rewards a Flame Spray and 5 Pulse Mines.

Stable Housing — Stella Montis Safe Puzzle
Stable Housing sends you to the Security Bridge area of the Stella Montis map. The goal is to crack open a locked safe, retrieve a set of blueprints called Project Heartwood, and deliver them to Tien Wen. The quest involves moving between multiple floors of the same building, so knowing the layout ahead of time saves a lot of backtracking.

Once you turn in the blueprints, you’ll receive 5 Lure Grenades, 5 Seeker Grenades, and 1 Snap Hook — all added directly to your inventory at no cost.

The second Shrouded Sky quest is shorter and more straightforward. Keeping an Eye Out takes place on the Blue Gate map and revolves around finding Bilguun’s Shelter, a hidden spot perched on a collapsed highway near the southern edge of the Barren Clearing POI.

Your rewards for finishing Keeping an Eye Out are a Flame Spray and 5 Pulse Mines.

Tips for Running These During Hurricane Conditions
Both quests are active while the Hurricane map condition is in rotation, which means you’ll be dealing with high winds, degraded shields, low visibility, and flying debris throughout. The Hurricane condition works similarly to Cold Snap in that it passively damages you over time — except here it’s your shields that degrade rather than your health directly. Debris flying through the air can also chip away at you unexpectedly.
Wind affects movement speed and stamina depending on direction. Running with a tailwind feels noticeably faster, while pushing against the gale drains stamina more quickly and slows you down. Thrown items like grenades are also affected by wind trajectory, so keep that in mind if you’re defending yourself mid-quest.
The upside to all this chaos is that First Wave Caches become easier to find during Hurricane conditions. The high winds uncover buried caches across the map, so it’s worth keeping an eye out for bonus loot while you’re completing objectives.
Neither quest requires rare gear or high-level loadouts, so they’re accessible to newer players who have unlocked Stella Montis and Blue Gate. The free gadgets — particularly the Snap Hook and Pulse Mines — are genuinely useful tools that would otherwise cost crafting materials or trader currency, making these two quests worth knocking out early in the Shrouded Sky event cycle.
