How to Complete Playground Games in Disney Dreamlight Valley (Parks Fest)

Decorate three biomes with the right furniture for Woody to unlock the Toy Block Archway and Tall Toy Block Stack.

Decorate three biomes with the right furniture for Woody to unlock the Toy Block Archway and Tall Toy Block Stack.

Playground Games is one of the trickier Parks Fest tasks Woody and Buzz hand out in Disney Dreamlight Valley, mostly because it sits behind a string of earlier event quests. Once it’s open, though, the work itself is straightforward decorating. You place a set number of themed furniture pieces across three areas, then talk to Woody to collect your prize.

Quick answer: Place five playful furniture items and six Toy Story furniture items in each of the Plaza, the Peaceful Meadow, and Dazzle Beach (33 pieces total), then return to Woody to finish the quest and unlock the Toy Block Archway and Tall Toy Block Stack.

Unlock Playground Games first

Playground Games doesn’t appear on its own. It’s gated behind other Parks Fest missions, so if Woody isn’t offering it yet, you still have earlier event quests to clear. Work through tasks like Playful Dog and Toy Camera, and the Playground Games objective will open up afterward. There’s no shortcut here, the quest simply won’t trigger until those prerequisites are done.

The three biomes and what each one needs

Woody asks you to decorate three regions, but he uses shortened names that can send you to the wrong spot. To be clear, the biomes are the Plaza, the Peaceful Meadow, and Dazzle Beach. Every area needs the exact same furniture count, so you can copy your approach across all three.

Peaceful MeadowDirectly below the Plaza on the map56
Dazzle BeachSouth of the Peaceful Meadow56

Dazzle Beach is the largest of the three areas, so it gives you the most open space to drop items and is generally the easiest to fill. The Peaceful Meadow is also roomier than the Plaza, which is the tightest of the bunch.

How to place the right furniture

Open Furniture mode in the biome you want to start with. The Plaza is a sensible first stop since it’s right at the castle.
Look for the Woody quest icons near the top of the screen. There are six in total, two for each of the three areas you need to decorate. They all point to the same kinds of items, since every region requires the same furniture types.
Click an icon to filter items tagged as playful or Toy Story, then place them anywhere in that biome. Drop five playful pieces and six Toy Story pieces to satisfy the requirement.

Repeat the same process in the Peaceful Meadow and then Dazzle Beach until all three areas hit their counts. Position doesn’t matter, only the totals do.

Note: Leave every piece in place until you’ve claimed your reward. Removing furniture before you finish will roll back your progress on the quest. Once Woody pays out, you’re free to pick everything back up.

Confirm completion and claim the reward

After all three biomes meet the furniture counts, return to Woody and talk to him to wrap up the quest. That conversation is how you know it worked, and it’s also when you collect your items. If the quest won’t close out, the usual cause is a biome that’s short on either playful or Toy Story pieces, or furniture you pulled up too early.

Finishing Playground Games unlocks the Toy Block Archway and the Tall Toy Block Stack, two of the Toy Block decorations tied to Parks Fest. There’s no alternative path to these pieces, so this is the only way to add them to your collection. With the reward in hand, you can clear out the temporary decorations and move on to the rest of the event.
