Pets are now part of the Pirate Pet event in Wizard Alchemy, and they do more than tag along. Once equipped, each Pet grants combat buffs like extra attack, damage reduction, crit, or bonus HP, and they will even follow you while you fly on a broom. You collect them by finding Pet Eggs across the map and hatching them.
Quick answer: Get a Pet Egg by picking one up in the world, buying one from the Lombart event shop with Pet Coins, or clearing waves in the Raging Waves Arena. Then open your Backpack, go to the Pets menu, select the Pet Eggs section, choose an Egg, and press Enable to hatch it.
What Pets do in Wizard Alchemy
Every Pet provides a stat buff when equipped. They come in three rarities, from Rare and Epic up to Legendary, and the rarity broadly tracks how strong the buff is. Pets also appear in different color variants, so you can own the same Pet with a different look.
Beyond their main buff, Pets gain a random secondary buff as they level. That means duplicates are never wasted. Two of the same Pet share the same primary buff but can roll different secondary buffs, so each copy ends up slightly unique.

All ways to get Pet Eggs
There are three ways to collect Eggs. You can grab them off the map, buy them from the event shop, or earn them in the Raging Waves Arena.
Pick up Eggs from the map
Walk up to a spawned Egg and press E to collect it. Some are Sealed Eggs guarded by monsters, and you must defeat those enemies before you can pick the Egg up. Sealed Eggs appear roughly once an hour, and the game sends a notification when one spawns. Known Sealed Egg spots include the Magic Forging ISL in the Sea of Oblivion, the top of the Waterfall in Ashen Ruins, and the Mutant Iron Axe Orc spawn in the Sea of Oblivion.
Buy from the Event Shop
Visit the Lombart NPC in the Sea of Oblivion to buy Pet Eggs with Pet Coins. This is the reliable route if you would rather not search the map for spawns.
Clear Raging Waves Arena waves
Clearing waves in the Raging Waves Arena has a low chance to drop Pet Eggs. Reaching wave 90 awards the exclusive Legendary Magic Egg, which only hatches into Legendary Pets, so it is a guaranteed top-tier companion.

How to level up Pets
Pets level up by eating Pet Food. There are three food items, Apple, Banana, and Chops, all earned by clearing waves in the Raging Waves Arena. You can also buy Chops from the Event Shop for 50 Pet Coins.

Pets cap at level 30. Feeding raises their stats and unlocks new cosmetic looks along the way. At level 20, a Pet gains a random extra stat, so a maxed Pet can carry up to three stat buffs in total.
Raging Waves Arena and its rewards
The Raging Waves Arena is the engine behind the Pet system. It hands out Pet Coins, Pet Food, Arena Tickets, Pet Eggs, and the mode-exclusive Legendary Magic Egg. To enter, you need an Arena Ticket each time, which you get from redeeming codes or buying them from the Event Shop for 200 Pet Coins.
The Arena runs for 100 waves, filled with monsters from the Departure ISL, Sea of Oblivion, and the Pirate’s Hideout. Clearing a wave fully restores your HP, so a strong loadout can carry you a long way without dying. You can respawn a limited number of times, and you can choose to end the run early and still keep the rewards for the waves you cleared.
Tip: Bring your best Wands, Robes, Hats, and Potions before a run. Since each cleared wave heals you, the goal is to push as deep as possible toward the wave 90 Legendary Magic Egg.

Raging Waves Arena milestone rewards
Most waves drop Pet Food, but every 10th wave grants a fixed milestone reward.
| Wave | Reward |
|---|---|
| 10 | 3 Arena Tickets |
| 20 | 500 Pet Coins |
| 30 | 200 Apple |
| 40 | 1,000 Pet Coins |
| 50 | 100 Banana |
| 60 | 1,500 Pet Coins |
| 70 | 50 Chops |
| 80 | 200 Pet Coins |
| 90 | 1 Legendary Magic Egg |
| 100 | 1 Funland Broom skin |
Pets reward steady play more than luck. Stockpile Arena Tickets, push the Raging Waves Arena for Pet Coins and food, and aim for that wave 90 Legendary Magic Egg to lock in a top-tier companion. Once you have a few Pets going, feed them toward level 30 to stack their secondary buffs and round out your build.
