How to Get Gilgamesh V2 in Sailor Piece (King of Heroes Unlock Guide)

Everything needed to summon the boss, farm drops, and unlock the fighting style plus its F move.

Everything needed to summon the boss, farm drops, and unlock the fighting style plus its F move.

Gilgamesh, the King of Heroes, is one of the strongest endgame fighting styles in Sailor Piece, built around wide beam attacks, area control, and heavy burst damage. Unlocking it is a grind that runs through a single boss, a stack of rare drops, and a large currency payment, so the fastest route is mostly about preparing materials in bulk before you start fighting.

Quick answer: Craft a Divine Grail from 3 Broken Swords, summon and defeat the Gilgamesh boss on Boss Island repeatedly until you collect 1 Golden King Title, 12 Throne Remnant, 6 Ancient Shard, 3 Golden Essence, and 1 Phantasm Core, then deliver them with 25,000,000 Money and 22,500 Gems to the Gilgamesh Trainer (King of Heroes NPC) on Boss Island to unlock the fighting style.

Gilgamesh unlock requirements in Sailor Piece

Every rare material for the unlock comes from the Gilgamesh boss, so the bottleneck is drop luck, not quest steps. Gather everything below before you visit the trainer. The full unlock cost is listed in one place here so you can budget runs.

Craft the Divine Grail and summon the Gilgamesh boss

Farm Broken Swords from sword-wielding NPCs. Islands with fast enemy respawns, such as Slime Island and Ninja Island, are the most efficient spots because you can clear and reset quickly.
Farm Broken Swords from sword-wielding NPCs
Convert the swords into Divine Grails at a ratio of 3 Broken Swords per 1 Divine Grail. Stockpile several at once so you can chain boss summons without returning to farm between fights.
Travel to Boss Island and interact with the Divine Grail NPC. To spawn Gilgamesh you must pay 1 Divine Grail, 500,000 Money, and 500 Gems per summon, so factor that cost into every run.
Defeat the boss. Gilgamesh has very high health and hits hard, especially on higher difficulty. Teaming up speeds up kills significantly, but the fight can be soloed at the cost of longer clear times.

Note: Defeating the boss once does not guarantee the Golden King Title. Expect to repeat the fight many times, with around 21 clears commonly needed before the title reliably drops.

Gilgamesh boss drops and drop rates

Each kill grants guaranteed rewards plus a chance at the rare materials you need. The Phantasm Core is the rarest item in the table, so it usually dictates how long the grind takes.

Farm Gilgamesh faster

Because the unlock depends on low-chance drops, run efficiency matters more than picking the hardest mode. The goal is more clears per hour, not harder fights.

  • Pre-craft Divine Grails in bulk so you can summon back-to-back.
  • Prioritize fast clears over higher difficulty modes.
  • Raise luck stats or use luck boosts to improve rare drop odds.
  • Fight in a team to cut kill time per boss.
Run efficiency matters more than picking the hardest mode.

Unlock the Gilgamesh fighting style

Once you have all five rare materials and the currency, go to the Gilgamesh Trainer, also called the King of Heroes NPC, on Boss Island. Hand over the materials along with 25,000,000 Money and 22,500 Gems to unlock the style. You know it worked when the King of Heroes fighting style becomes equippable on your character.

The base moveset is built for both farming and boss damage:

KeyMove
ZFires two light beams
XTraps enemies and strikes them with beams
CWide cone slash
VGolden circles rain down beams over an area
FLarge fire blast from above (locked by default)

Unlock the Gilgamesh F move with the Babylon Key

The F move, the large overhead fire blast, is the highest-damage ability in the kit and stays locked until you craft and use a Babylon Key. Craft it at the Babylon Key NPC, which sits near the Divine Grail NPC, and make sure you have the Servant Race equipped before crafting.

Babylon Key requirementAmount
Servant Race (equipped)Required
Broken Swords100
Golden Essence5
Phantasm Core2

Once you craft and use the Babylon Key, the F move is permanently available on the style. Plan ahead, since the extra Golden Essence and Phantasm Cores for the key come from the same boss as the unlock materials, so banking spares during your farming runs saves a second grind.

Once you craft and use the Babylon Key, the F move is permanently available on the style.

The whole process rewards preparation over brute force. Stack Divine Grails, push your luck stats, run the boss with a group, and hold onto extra Golden Essence and Phantasm Cores so the fighting style unlock and the Babylon Key both come together in one stretch of farming.
