Both variants sell for far more than ordinary plants, so collecting either type is a fast way to stack up Sheckles.
Between the two, the Rainbow mutation carries the larger multiplier and is the rarer of the seeds, so a Rainbow plant generally outsells a Gold plant of the same crop. If both events are an option, prioritize the Rainbow Moon.
