Wash the House puts you in the role of a cleaner who moves through homes, mansions, and other buildings to tidy every room. Two actions drive the whole experience. You sort scattered objects back into place, and you blast away grime with a power washer. Both tasks pay out Coins, which fund upgrades that make each job faster.
Quick answer: Pick up loose items and drop them in their highlighted spots, then hold the Left Mouse Button to power wash each wall and floor until the section meter fills. Spend the Coins you earn on power washer size first, then move to the next room.
The two core actions: sorting and cleaning
Every room comes down to two jobs. Sorting means collecting the objects lying around a room and returning them to their correct positions. Interact with an item to pick it up, and use the Highlight feature to see exactly where it belongs.
Cleaning uses the power washer to strip muck off walls and floors. Press and hold the Left Mouse Button to spray a small area, and watch the meter that appears to track how much of that patch is done. Fill the meter to fully clean the section, then repeat across the room until the whole building is spotless.
Tip: Sort a room completely before you switch to washing. Bouncing between the two slows you down, and clearing objects first removes the clutter that hides dirty spots.

How Coins and upgrades work
Coins arrive as you work, not only when a room is finished. Sorting items and cleaning surfaces both pay out along the way, so you can upgrade mid-room instead of waiting for completion.
To buy upgrades, click the button on the HUD or walk up to the van parked outside the house. You can improve the Highlight feature, the range and size of the power washer, your walk speed, and your item pickup range, and you can unlock new items and abilities. Coins cover all of it, or you can spend Robux to skip the grind.
Upgrade priority: size before range
After sorting a room, you should have enough Coins to improve the power washer. Put those Coins into the washer’s size before its range. A larger spray clears more of the surface at once, so you cover the same wall in fewer passes.
Range matters more on bigger maps like the mansion, where surfaces sit farther apart. Even there, size still comes first. Prioritise it early and layer range on top once the larger buildings start appearing.
Gems and better power washers
Completing a room rewards Gems, a separate currency from Coins. Gems unlock additional power washers that carry better stats than the default one. They are slower to accumulate, so clear smaller maps like the House to farm them more quickly and build up toward a stronger washer.
Maps and multiplayer
The experience includes several maps, each with its own scale of challenge. Larger buildings like the mansion take longer to finish and are harder to sort than the smaller houses. If a big map feels slow, bring a friend or two. Multiplayer splits the sorting and washing across players, which makes large structures far quicker to clear.
Robux features and whether you need them
Several paid options speed up your progress. These include buying Gems, boosting Coin gains, and enabling auto-sorting, all of which cost Robux. None of it is required. You can clear every map without spending a single Robux, so the premium features are shortcuts rather than gates.
Once you have the loop down, target the largest objects in each room first, keep sorting and washing separate, and steer your Coins toward power washer size. From there, farming the smaller maps for Gems is the fastest route to the better washers that carry you through the mansion.
