The Tempest Relic is a Legendary-tier drop in Sailor Piece that works as both a summoning material and a progression currency. You need it to spawn the Blessed Maiden boss on Boss Island, and you need a stack of 25 to eventually craft her sword.
What drops a Tempest Relic
The drop rule is strict and easy to get wrong. Only enemies that use Melee (unarmed) attacks can drop a Tempest Relic. If the mob is swinging a sword, it will never drop one, no matter how many you farm.
That filter applies across every island in the game, so any unarmed mob is technically viable. In practice, you want dense, low-resistance spawns you can wipe quickly with an AOE.
Best farming spots
Hollow Island (sometimes referred to as Hueco Mundo) is the standard farm. The Hollows there sit around level 5,000, attack unarmed, and respawn fast enough to chain clears. Soul Dominion is the other strong option once your damage can comfortably handle higher-level packs.

Pick the island where you can one-shot or two-shot a full group with an AOE follow-up. Killing speed matters more than the individual drop rate, because Tempest Relics are a volume farm.
| Location | Enemy type | Best for |
|---|---|---|
| Hollow Island | Hollows (unarmed, ~level 5,000) | Mid-game players gearing up for Blessed Maiden |
| Soul Dominion | Unarmed high-level mobs | Late-game players with strong AOE builds |
| Any island | Any non-sword mob | Opportunistic farming while questing |
Increase your Luck stat
Tempest Relics are Legendary rarity, so base drop rates are low. Stacking Luck is the single biggest lever you have.
There are a handful of reliable ways to push Luck higher:
- Reroll your Species to Kitsune for a flat +25% Luck boost.
- Equip Luck Runes, which typically add roughly 10–15% depending on the rune.
- Level up your Clan to unlock passive Luck gains.
- Equip a Boss Kill Title — any of them applies a Luck modifier.
- Reroll stats on Sailor Island if you want to rebalance.
There is also a Robux-based Luck purchase in the shop. It works, but it isn't necessary if you have decent runes and a Kitsune reroll.
Summon the Blessed Maiden
Once you have at least one Tempest Relic, head to Boss Island and speak with the Boss Summoner NPC. The relic is consumed along with Gems and Cash, and the cost scales with difficulty.
| Difficulty | Tempest Relics | Gems | Cash | Boss HP |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Normal | 1 | 600 | 600,000 | 650M (Easy baseline) |
| Medium | 2 | 750 | 750,000 | Scales up |
| Hard | 3 | 850 | 850,000 | Scales up |
| Extreme | 4 | 1,250 | 1,250,000 | 10B |
Higher difficulties increase her HP and her drop quality, so save your best relics for runs you can actually clear.
Blessed Maiden drops
Beating her has a chance to drop the materials you'll need for the Blessed Maiden Sword and for the Astral Empress Title, which itself buffs your damage by 70%.
| Drop | Approximate chance |
|---|---|
| Tide Remnant | 9.50% – 15% |
| Gale Essence | 3.50% – 5.50% |
| Maiden Outfit | 0.95% – 1.5% |
| Aero Core | 0.85% – 1.25% |
| Astral Empress (Title) | 0.80% – 1.35% |
| Celestial Mark | 0.40% – 0.70% |
Unlock the Blessed Maiden Sword
The sword is where the Tempest Relic grind really pays off. On Boss Island, find the Blessed Maiden NPC (not the boss) standing on a rock toward the back, facing the ocean. Bring the full list of materials, and she unlocks the weapon in one interaction.
Full requirements:
- 25x Tempest Relic
- 32,500 Gems
- Astral Empress Title equipped
- 3x Aero Core
- 1x Celestial Mark
- 14x Tide Remnant
- 8x Gale Essence
Missing any single item blocks the unlock, so check your inventory before you make the trip.
Farming tips that actually matter
A few things will cut your grind time significantly:
- Only hit unarmed mobs. Ignore sword-wielding enemies entirely — they cannot drop the relic.
- Farm dense spawn pockets. AOE + a follow-up attack is faster than picking off single targets.
- Stack Luck before you start. Equip your Luck rune and Boss Kill Title before the first kill, not halfway through.
- Play with friends. Shared mob tagging on populated islands speeds up respawn cycles.
- Consider trading. Tempest Relics are tradeable, so a duplicate Legendary from another grind can sometimes shortcut a few relics.
Plan to run the Blessed Maiden several times once you start summoning her. The sword alone needs 25 relics plus multiple low-chance drops, so a single clear is almost never enough. Farm relics in bulk, summon on a difficulty you can reliably beat, and let the low-chance materials come in over repeated fights.
