Bloodmaster is a limited-time Legendary class added to Survive Zombie Arena with the Bloodmoon update on July 25, 2026. It sits behind a random crate roll rather than a fixed price, so there is no amount of Credits you can save to guarantee it. You farm the event currency, open the crate, and hope the drop lands.
Quick answer: Kill Bloodmoon Zombies to collect Blood Shards, spend 50 Blood Shards per pull on the Bloodmoon Crate in the lobby, and keep opening until Bloodmaster drops. Each open has a 0.25% chance, and there is no pity system. You can start rolling in the official Roblox experience while the event is live.

Bloodmaster acquisition facts
Unlike the standard roster you buy outright with Credits, Bloodmaster only exists through the Bloodmoon Crate. That changes how you plan for it. There is no wave requirement and no set cost to reach. Every crate open is an independent roll, so ten opens do not put you 2.5% of the way there. You can hit it on the first pull or grind an entire session and walk away with duplicates.

Add to Google Preferences →How to farm Blood Shards
Blood Shards are the limited-time currency you spend on the crate. You earn them by playing normal runs during the Bloodmoon event and killing Bloodmoon Zombies, which have only a 1% chance of spawning. Because they are rare, expect the currency to trickle in rather than pour.
Higher-tier zombies pay out more Blood Shards per kill, so pushing into stronger waves speeds up your crate budget faster than farming easy early rounds. Every 50 Blood Shards buys one more roll at the Bloodmoon Crate.
Steps to unlock and equip Bloodmaster
Bloodmaster abilities
The kit is built entirely around forward pressure. Two of the three skills are damage tools aimed at whatever is in front of you, and the third trades your own health for sustain.
| Ability | Effect |
|---|---|
| Crimson Rend | Unleashes a massive blood slash across a wide frontal sector for heavy burst damage. |
| Blood Mist | Creates a blood-shard storm that moves ahead of you and repeatedly damages the horde. |
| Blood Orb | Pays some of your health to summon an orb that siphons enemies damaged by its owner. |

Note: Blood Orb is not a passive heal. You spend health up front, then recover it by draining zombies you have already hit, so your survivability scales with how aggressive you are rather than with healing items or standing still.
How to play Bloodmaster in waves
All three skills point forward, which means Bloodmaster wants to face a pack and push into it instead of kiting around the arena edges. The core loop is simple. Open on a group with Crimson Rend, drop Blood Mist so it grinds through everything walking toward you, then place Blood Orb to convert that pile of damaged zombies back into health.
Because the drain scales with how much you have already hit, the class gets safer the deeper into a wave you commit. That is the opposite of most survivability picks. Against one or two targets the kit works at a fraction of its output, so it is a horde-clearing class first and foremost.
Common reasons Bloodmaster does not unlock
- You are trying to buy it with Credits. Bloodmaster has no Credit price and cannot be purchased from the class shop.
- You spent Blood Shards expecting a guaranteed unlock. There is no pity system, so a long unlucky streak is possible even after many opens.
- You are looking for the crate outside the event. The Bloodmoon Crate only appears while the Bloodmoon event is live.
- You have fewer than 50 Blood Shards. Each open requires the full 50, and shards come only from Bloodmoon Zombie kills.
On kit alone Bloodmaster covers almost everything a horde class needs, with frontal burst, a moving area-damage tool, and a self-sustain option. The catch is entirely in the acquisition. If you already have Blood Shards to spend or want a rare event class on your account, keep rolling. If you are starting from zero, a Legendary you can simply buy will get you a strong class far faster than a 0.25% pull.
