The 2008 stage of The Hunt: Roblox 20 is the third step in the anniversary chain, and it hands out the Brick Black Jetpack UGC alongside the Warrior Badge. Clearing it takes two separate tasks: a paint-collection hunt in the 2008 hub, followed by a short combat run inside Classic Rocket Arena.

Quick answer: Paint all 10 eggs around the 2008 lobby with the Paintgame, score 5 knockouts in Rocket Arena, then return to the hub and claim the reward at the central tree.

What you need before starting the 2008 stage

The years unlock sequentially: 2008 becomes available only after the preceding stages are cleared. In 2007, complete Sword Fights on the Heights IV, then touch the Mysterious Cube at the stage’s end to teleport to the 2008 lobby. Speak with the Person299 NPC beside the Rocket Arena portal there to start the egg hunt.

  • The 2006 Crossroads and 2007 stages completed so 2008 unlocks.
  • The Paintgame, used to color each egg in the hub.
  • Access to any Rocket Arena game mode for the knockout task.

All 10 egg locations in the 2008 hub

Ten eggs are scattered across the 2008 lobby, and every one must be hit with the Paintgame to count. Reaching an egg is not enough; if the counter stays below 10/10, you missed painting one. Use the table below to work through the map, then confirm the count reads 10/10 before moving on.

EggWhere to find it
1Top of the large blue spiral staircase to your right at spawn.
2On the pirate ship in the water below Egg 1, near the front sail.
3Behind the Year3 Challenge board, right of the Person299 NPC.
4Bottom floor of the red fort entrance, on the left.
5Top-left corner at the top of the red fort’s staircase.
6Behind the giant Trowel model, right of the Rocket Arena portal.
7Snowy biome near a tree by the magma, atop the Trowel and Hammer model.
8Left corner inside the blue fort, opposite the red fort.
9In the food-serving area of the underground Music Venue, via the hole in front of the red fort.
10Back of the western snowy biome, right of the red fort.

Clear all ten eggs before entering the portal. You are already standing in the hub, so it is easy to check the counter and avoid a return trip if one egg never registered.

Once you have all ten, return to Person299 and interact with him to turn in the task. He confirms the egg objective is complete.

How to get 5 knockouts in Rocket Arena

The second half is the combat task tied to the Warrior Badge. Step into the Rocket Arena portal, accept the Teleport prompt, and you drop into the mini-game. Your goal is simple: land 5 knockouts against other players.

Equip your launcher and aim at opponents as they cross the multi-level platforms. Rockets work best when enemies are moving across open walkways or clustered around chokepoints. You do not need a win, a streak, or first place, and no special weapon skin is required. Only the five eliminations matter.

When you reach the fifth knockout, the Badge Awarded notification appears on screen. That confirms the combat requirement is finished, so heading back to the hub is more useful than staying in the match.

Claiming the Brick Black Jetpack and confirming completion

With both tasks done, return to the 2008 hub. The reward interaction sits in front of the tree at the center of the lobby. Approach the glowing “Claim” prompt and interact with it to unlock the Brick Black Jetpack and the Warrior Badge.

A Badge Awarded notification confirms success, and the jetpack should then appear in your inventory. Open your avatar inventory and verify that the item is present. If the year fails to advance, rejoin the Hunt hub to register the completion state.

The entire path takes place in the official The Hunt: Roblox 20 experience, with no Robux required. Completing 2008 unlocks the 2009 Chaos Canyon stage, so collecting the jetpack continues the anniversary progression toward Year Infinity.
