Lumber Tycoon 2 is the 2015 stop on The Hunt: Roblox 20, and its quest is one of the least complicated in the whole lineup. There is no boss, no timer, and no collectible checklist. A woodcutter named Geck stands outside the main shop asking for lumber, and your only job is to keep feeding his bin until the meter is full.
Quick answer: Buy a Basic Hatchet from Thom inside Wood R Us for $12, chop a nearby tree, and drop the logs into Geck’s bin until the green meter fills.

Where to find Geck in Lumber Tycoon 2
You’ll find Geck beside the Wood R Us store, immediately next to the spawn area. Look for the sign ROBLOX 20 NEED WOOD!!! <- see geck, which directs you to him; a red circle outline also marks the ground at his location. He gives a brief request: “Need wood… please….”

Beside him sits a large open wooden bin with a gauge on the front. The arrow starts all the way on the left and climbs to the right as you deposit lumber. That gauge is the only progress tracker for the quest, so treat it as the source of truth rather than counting logs.
- Era: 2015, the Lumber Tycoon 2 stage of the event.
- Objective: supply wood to Geck until the bin’s meter fills.
- Badge: “You helped Geck”.
- Hub reward: the Leather Adventure Backpack.

Add to Google Preferences →Buy an axe first: The Basic Hatchet costs $12
New accounts spawn with $20, and trees cannot be harvested with bare hands. Punching a trunk does nothing at all, which is where most first-time players get stuck. Walk into Wood R Us, grab the Basic Hatchet box off the shelf, put it on the counter, and buy it from Thom for $12. Then open the box and equip the hatchet.

| Axe | Price | Affordable at spawn? |
|---|---|---|
| Basic Hatchet | $12 | Yes |
| Hardened Axe | $550 | No |
| Silver Axe | $2,040 | No |
Better axes increase chopping speed, though buying one is optional. If you try to purchase an axe without enough cash, the game rejects the sale and displays a message calling you a punk for lacking funds. Ignore the Land Store and the wire sitting on the shelf too, since neither has any role in the event quest.

How to fill Geck’s wood bin
Dropping logs on the ground near Geck does not count. The wood has to go inside the bin for the meter to move.
Faster deliveries with a vehicle and higher-value wood
Players with an existing save file can cut the whole thing down to about a minute. Load your slot, take a truck out to the treeline, and haul a full load back in one trip instead of dragging logs on foot. The delivery itself is what counts, so no specific vehicle is required.
Wood type also matters. More valuable species fill the meter faster than basic trunks, and running logs through a sawmill into planks speeds it up further. Keep loads manageable, though. An oversized haul that spills pieces along the road costs more time than making two clean trips.
How to confirm the badge unlocked
Once the meter is full, a completion prompt appears: “The Lumber Tycoon 2 quest is complete! Go to the hub to collect your prize, then keep traveling through time.” You also receive the You helped Geck badge, and a purple Strange Bag appears on the ground beside Geck.

If you have delivered a load and nothing has changed, the bar has simply not filled yet. A successful first hand-in does not end the quest, so go cut more wood and check the gauge again before rejoining a different server.
Claim the Leather Adventure Backpack at the event hub
Earning the badge does not automatically add the item to your inventory. Travel to The Hunt: Roblox 20 hub, then claim the 2015 reward to complete that year and proceed to the next era. If the backpack does not appear, verify in the hub that the year is marked complete before treating it as a problem.

The event has been live since mid-September 2026 and no end date has been confirmed. Lumber Tycoon 2 also picked up a sizable permanent update alongside it, the biggest content drop the game has had in roughly eight years, so the map may look different than you remember if you are returning after a long break. That does not change the quest itself, which stays exactly as simple as it looks: chop, haul, deposit, repeat.
