Getting from a fresh spawn to a maxed-out character in Shindo Life comes down to matching your activity to your current level. What earns fast XP at level 5 barely moves the bar at level 500, so the loop changes as you grow. Set up a permanent XP multiplier first, then rotate through logs, quests, and bosses as your power climbs.
Quick answer: Join the RELL World and RELL GAMES groups for permanent 2x XP, hit training logs until level 50, switch to green scroll quests in Ember Village afterward, then farm bosses in Shikai Forest and Shindai Valley once your stats can handle it. At level 1000, you rank up, which resets your level to 1 but keeps every bloodline, element, and weapon.

Turn on permanent 2x XP before anything else
The biggest boost in the game is free and never expires. Joining the developer’s two Roblox groups grants both 2x daily rewards and 2x XP inside Shindo Life, which cuts every grind below roughly in half.
Your bloodline and element feed into speed too. Setups that add movement speed get you to objectives faster, and higher damage clears enemies and quests quicker. Spinning for a stronger bloodline or element pays off at every level band.

Add to Google Preferences →Levels 1 to 50: hit training logs
The wooden pillars scattered around cities are your fastest early XP. These training logs pay out for every hit, and there is no travel or enemy risk involved, so nothing interrupts the flow.

Level 50 and up: green scroll quests in Ember Village
Once you pass level 50, the green scroll quests in Ember Village take over as the quickest source. Ember Village is the main city and keeps the shortest distance between quest givers and the enemies you need to kill, so you lose less time walking.
Green scroll quests and story quests work the same way. You accept a task, leave the village, and defeat a set number of one enemy type. You can only hold one quest at a time, and it completes on its own once the count is met. You also earn XP just from dealing damage during the fight, on top of the quest reward.
Running in a squad speeds this up even more. You gain XP when a squad member finishes an objective, and if the member who started the quest is higher level, your cut is bigger. Split up across the city, so the group covers more ground and finishes more quests per hour.

Where to spend stat points by phase
Pointing your stats at the right thing keeps leveling smooth. Early on you want raw damage, and later you need enough Chi to use abilities plus the health to survive tougher enemies.
| Phase | Priority stats | Why it matters |
|---|---|---|
| Levels 1–50 (logs) | Tai | Raises basic attack damage, so each log hit earns more XP |
| Level 50+ (quests) | Chi, Nin, Health | Chi unlocks bloodline and element abilities, Nin boosts ability damage, Health keeps you alive |
By level 50, you should be able to unlock abilities from your bloodline or element, but you need enough Chi to actually cast them. Building Nin makes those abilities hit harder, which clears enemies and finishes quests faster.

Boss farming for high-level characters
Once your character is strong, has ranked up a few times, and runs bloodlines built for bossing, killing bosses becomes the quickest XP available. Farm bosses in Shikai Forest, then move up to Shindai Valley after level 800.
Shindai Valley is efficient because it holds three big bosses close together, so you can chain them without long travel. The frog bosses near Mount Maki are another option, though a bug can currently stop them from taking damage. Big bosses are worth prioritizing over humanoid bosses because they go down faster.
Bloodline choice decides how fast this goes. The strongest pairing is Apollo Sand plus Shadow, since Shadow’s C spec and Apollo Sand’s third move melt a big boss’s health in seconds. If you lack those, Crystal plus Shindai Akuma is a strong backup, with Crystal’s third move behaving almost identically to Apollo Sand’s.
| Bloodline / ability | How to use it on big bosses |
|---|---|
| Apollo Sand + Shadow | Top pick; combine Shadow’s C spec with Apollo Sand’s third move for burst spike damage |
| Crystal + Shindai Akuma | Strong backup; Crystal’s third move can hit near 500,000 in one cast |
| Shindai Akuma (Form 4) | C spec and first move summon clones for continuous damage |
| Ice and Earth (last moves) | Ice spikes and earth walls add solid extra damage |
| Xeno Doki (C spec) | Nerfed from its old one-shot power but still a reliable multi-hit option |
You can pad any combo with Winter Avalanche and Poison Cloud for more damage. The hard part is obtaining and leveling these bloodlines. Once they are maxed, the grind gets much easier because bloodline mastery levels carry over and stay the same even after you rank up your character.
Note: This only works after you have built real power. Trying it on a fresh character gets you killed instead of leveled, so save bossing for when your stats and gear can take the hits.

AFK and passive XP for overnight progress
If you want gains while you are away, AFK farming keeps ticking over. Park your character auto-attacking a training log with an auto-clicker, and it earns XP while you sleep or step out. You can also sit on an XP pond in Shikai Forest to build XP passively.
Log farming slows to a crawl at high level, so treat it as background or overnight progress rather than your main grind.

Ranking up at level 1000
The maximum level is 1000. When you hit the cap, ranking up is how you keep growing your character’s power. There are two ways to do it: reach level 1000 and rank up normally, or pay 50,000 RELL Coins at the RANK desk in the Hidden RELL Village to rank up instantly with no level requirement.
Ranking up resets your level back to 1, but you keep all your bloodlines, elements, weapons, and other progress. Each new prestige rank grants extra stats as you level, so every rank makes the next climb to 1000 faster than the last. A rank-up also comes with a higher tier max, 50 spins, and 15-plus minutes of 2x.
You will know it worked when your level display returns to 1, and your stat gains per level go up. From there, repeat the same loop: logs early, quests through the mid-game, and boss farming once your rebuilt character is strong enough. Reaching a character’s full potential means ranking up many times over, which means leveling to 1000 that many times.
