This guide provides step-by-step instructions on how to make a group call in Microsoft Teams using two straightforward methods: starting from a group chat and initiating a call from the Calls tab.

Make a Group Call from a Group Chat

Open the Microsoft Teams app on your iPhone and tap on the Chats tab at the bottom of the screen.
Select the group chat that includes the team members you wish to call.
Inside the group chat, tap on the Audio Call icon or the Video Call icon located at the top-right corner to initiate a group call.
Choose whether you want to make a group audio or video call.
A prompt will appear asking if you want to call everyone in the group. Tap on Call to start the group call with all participants.

Make a Group Call from the Calls Tab

In the Teams app, tap on the Calls tab found at the bottom of your screen.
Tap on the New Call button located at the upper-right corner.
On the Make a Call screen, enter the names of the people you want to include in the group call in the To field. Select each contact from the suggestions as they appear.
Once all the participants are added, tap the Phone icon to initiate the group call.

After starting the call, you can switch to a video call if desired. Additionally, a new group chat is created when you make a group call using this method, allowing for easy communication with the same group in the future.

Making group calls on Microsoft Teams for iPhone is straightforward with these methods. Whether you’re connecting through an existing group chat or starting a new call from the Calls tab, you can effortlessly stay in touch with your team no matter where you are.
