Power Your City is a Roblox simulation game built around running your own small power plant. You generate electricity, sell it for Cash, and pour that money back into panels and batteries to scale up your output. You can also raid other players by lifting power straight from their batteries. The whole thing runs on a short, repeatable loop that always sends you home richer than you left.

Quick answer: Buy panels and batteries, wait for them to fill with power, then sell that power for Cash. Repeat, and each cycle leaves you with more money than you started with, so you always have enough to buy the next upgrade.

The core gameplay loop

Everything in Power Your City comes back to three actions in a fixed order. Because a full cycle earns more than it costs, you never get stuck without Cash to spend on the next round of equipment. That reliable payout is what makes the game easy to pick up.

Buy panels and batteries from their respective shops. Panels generate power, and batteries store it, so you need both in roughly equal numbers to actually bank what you produce.
Let your plant run and collect the power that builds up in your batteries.
Sell the collected power for Cash, then check both shops again for better panels and batteries before starting the next cycle.

Once your Cash builds up, you can unlock new sections of the play area. More space means room for a bigger plant, which means more power per cycle and faster earnings.

Selling power and the negotiation gamble

When you sell power, the game offers you the chance to negotiate for a higher price. There is a 50% chance the negotiation succeeds. If it does, your payout nearly doubles. If it fails, you receive slightly less than the original offer.

Because the downside is small and the upside is large, taking the negotiation is almost always worth it. Over many sales, the coin-flip odds work in your favor.

Stealing power from other players

Theft is a simple side income. Walk over to another player’s plant, interact with any of their batteries to grab their power, then carry it back to your own plant to add it to your reserves.

The catch is that carrying stolen power slows you down. Your walk speed stays reduced until you make it home or get caught. Stealing is mainly an early-game trick. Later on, most players already have all the equipment and money they need, so the extra power barely matters.

Speed upgrades and base defense

You can spend Cash on Speed upgrades to move faster across the map. This is a quality-of-life boost that really pays off once you are covering longer distances, which mostly happens in the mid to late game. It is fine to hold off on Speed until you actually need to cross a larger play area.

For defense, you can temporarily lock your base by stepping on the green button outside your plant. In practice you rarely need it. Power generation is fast enough that theft never meaningfully sets you back, so protecting your plant becomes a non-issue by the mid to late game.

Rebirth: What it resets and what it unlocks

Once you hit a certain Cash threshold, you can perform a Rebirth. Doing so unlocks new panels and batteries and grants boosts to Cash, power, and base lock. It is the long-term progression lever in the game.

Rebirth comes at a price. It resets your power, your Cash, and your Speed back to the starting point. You trade your current progress for stronger equipment and multipliers, so time a Rebirth for when the new panels and boosts will outpace what you gave up.

Power Your City is free to play with no premium requirements, so you can climb the whole progression on Cash alone. Keep the buy-collect-sell loop running, take the negotiation on every sale, lean on power theft early, and save Rebirths for when the unlocks clearly beat what you are trading away.
