How to Unlock Light V2 in Sailor Piece (King Update)

Get the Light Fruit first

Light V2 is built on top of the Light Fruit, so you cannot start without it. The fruit is sold by the Coin Fruit Dealer and the Gem Fruit Dealer, who stand next to each other on Sailor Island in front of the Vampire King NPC.

Travel to Sailor Island and find the two fruit dealers in front of the Vampire King NPC. Keep rolling at either dealer until Light appears. Light is a Legendary fruit with a low roll rate, so expect this to take a while.

Equip the Light Fruit once you pull it. The seller NPC checks for the fruit on your character, so it needs to be active, not just sitting in your inventory.

Farm 1 billion Gems

The Light V2 moveset costs 1 billion Gems on top of the materials. Opening chests and running rune dungeon farming are both reliable income loops, and clearing NPCs and bosses adds to the total as you go.

To speed this up, equip the Yamato Clan and the Golden Tyrant Title before you grind. Both add a Gem boost, which cuts down the number of runs you need to hit the billion mark.

Collect 5 Light Fragments from the Light Raid

Light Fragments come only from the Light Raid, which is part of the raid hub on Blue Planet in Sea 2. The fragments drop at a guaranteed 100% rate when you beat the Light Boss, so the grind is about repetition rather than luck.

Head to Blue Planet and talk to the Raid Portal NPC. This NPC gives access to both the Minotaur Raid and the Light Raid, so choose the Light Raid.

Clear the raid and defeat the Light Boss. Each completed run awards a Light Fragment, so repeat the raid until you are holding 5 in total.

Find the black-and-red colored NPC standing in front of the house on Blue Planet. Interact with this NPC to open the trade.

Submit the Gems and fragments. If you meet every requirement, the NPC grants Light V2 and the upgraded moveset is added to your build.

How to confirm Light V2 unlocked

The trade only completes when all three checks pass at once. If the NPC refuses the purchase, the cause is almost always one of the following.

The Light Fruit is not equipped on your current character.
Your Gem balance is below 1 billion.
You are holding fewer than 5 Light Fragments.

Once the purchase goes through, the enhanced Light abilities replace the base versions on your moveset, which confirms the upgrade is active. For the full F move, you also need the Bearer of Light title, earned through the Light Raid, before completing the F move mastery on Blue Planet.
