The Piñata glove now supports Glove Mastery, which means you can unlock an upgraded version of it by clearing three glove-specific tasks. The tasks are tied to the glove’s candy mechanic, its charged-slap timing, and its Sugar Rush speed buff, and your progress is permanent once you start chipping away at it.
Quick answer: In a public server, finish all three tasks in the Piñata glove’s Mastery window — eat 1,250 candies, land 75 Perfect Slaps, and get 100 kills while a Sugar Rush is active.
Before you start: own the Piñata glove
Mastery only appears for gloves you already have, so you need the Piñata glove in your backpack first. It is a Badge Glove with a Power of 46–70, a Speed of 15, and the “Swing or Miss” passive ability. You cannot buy it with slaps.
The glove unlocks when you earn the Birthday Bash badge. A piñata spawns on a side island in the arena, and only the player who lands the final hit to break it receives the badge.
Since the badge just needs the final slap, you can hunt the piñata in a private server, either alone or with friends, to avoid competition for that last hit.
The mastery tasks themselves do not count in private servers, so once you have the glove, do your grinding in a public server.
Open the Piñata Mastery screen
pi into the search bar to filter the list down to the Piñata glove. A recent search fix means typing pinata works too, without needing the special ñ character.

Eat 1,250 candy
When you slap opponents with the Piñata glove, candy drops. Pick it up and keep collecting until the counter reaches 1,250. There is no trick to this one, but the sheer number makes it the longest task, so consistency matters more than anything else.
Land 75 Perfect Slaps
A Perfect Slap is a slap released while the charge indicator sits in the green zone. Watch the charge meter and let go at the right moment rather than rushing your swings. Once the green window becomes familiar, reaching 75 is mostly a matter of practice.
Kill 100 players on a Sugar Rush
Eating candy grants a Sugar Rush speed buff. Each kill you land while that buff is still active counts toward this task, and you need 100 of them. So the loop is simple: grab candy, eat it, then use the extra speed to chase down and eliminate another player before the buff wears off.
Stack the candy and kill tasks together
Because both the candy count and the Sugar Rush kills depend on candy, you can farm them at the same time. Every time you pick up candy for the 1,250 total, eat it and immediately look for a player to eliminate while the speed buff is running. That single loop pushes both counters forward at once.
Keep landing charged slaps in the green zone throughout, so your 75 Perfect Slaps tick up while you handle the longer candy and kill grinds.
What the Mastered Piñata gives you and how to confirm it
The Mastered variant applies four listed modifiers, two of which are trade-offs rather than pure upgrades.

Until you finish the tasks, the status control in the Mastery window shows Locked. Meet the goals for all three counters, and you can turn on the Mastered version using that window. In your inventory, the Mastered glove has a slightly changed appearance and appears above your other gloves inside a yellow frame. If you’re in Normal Arena, it takes effect after you respawn; you can also disable the Mastered variant from the same menu whenever you like.
