The John Wick Sprite is a Mythic-rarity variant that lands with the v41.30 update and can only be picked up inside The Simpsons Fortnite Reload map. Once you claim it there, it unlocks permanently and becomes usable in Battle Royale and other modes.
Quick answer: Load into The Simpsons Fortnite Reload, then grab the John Wick Sprite from a Normal or Sprite Chest, reveal it with the Reload Portable Extractor, take it off an eliminated player who is carrying it, or win a Reload match. Claiming it in Reload adds it to your collection for good.

The Sprite is locked to the Springfield map that runs inside The Simpsons Fortnite Reload mode. You will not find it in standard Battle Royale, Zero Build, or any other playlist during its debut. If you want it, you have to be in Reload.
Note: It is currently the only Sprite that can be used within Fortnite Reload, which makes the mode the single place to both collect and equip it at launch.

Four ways to unlock the John Wick Sprite
Unlike most Sprites, this one has several routes to your inventory. Any of the following will put the Mythic in your hands while you are playing Reload.
| Method | What to do |
|---|---|
| Reload Portable Extractor | Use the new Reload Portable Extractor item to reveal the John Wick Sprite on the Springfield map. |
| Eliminate a carrier | Knock out or eliminate a player who is already holding the John Wick Sprite and take it. |
| Chests | Find the Mythic inside a Normal Chest or a Sprite Chest during a Reload match. |
| Win a match | Win a round of The Simpsons Fortnite Reload while it is in your inventory. |
The winning route has one caveat. It is not confirmed whether a victory hands you the Sprite outright or simply counts because you were already carrying it during the match, so keep it in your inventory when you push for the win.

What the John Wick Sprite does
The Sprite’s core power reveals nearby enemies after you knock or eliminate another player. That turns each takedown into free map information, letting you hunt down the next target or reposition before you get third-partied.
- Its Sprite level stays exactly as found, so it does not scale up or down after you pick it up.
- It is the only Sprite currently usable inside Fortnite Reload.
- Claiming it in Reload unlocks it for Battle Royale and allows it to be equipped in other modes.
How to confirm it is in your collection
Once you claim the John Wick Sprite in Reload, it registers to your account and appears in your Sprite Collection screen. From that point, it stays unlocked, and you can equip it in Battle Royale and other supported modes without needing to find it again.
Its addition brings the total number of Fortnite Sprites to 95, counting the recently added Llama, Peely, and Quack Zero Point Sprites. As a Mythic collaboration variant, it sits among the rarest entries in the collection, so locking it in during the Reload window is the reliable path to completing that slot.
