Void Evolution is the deep endgame loop in Sell Lemons, the point where your income figures swell into numbers most idle games never reach. It builds on Rebirths, resets almost everything when you trigger it, and hands back a permanent income speed multiplier that compounds with every Evolution you stack on top. The catch is the entry fee: you need a staggering pile of Investors before the portal even shows up.
Quick answer: Reach roughly 501.2 Quadrillion total Investors (this counts Investors you own, ones already spent on Powers, and what you’d gain from rebirthing now). A purple Void Evolution portal then appears behind Joe the Alien. Walk through it, interact with the Void Altar, and the Evolution menu opens.

Requirements to unlock the Void Evolution portal
Two gates stand between you and Void Evolution. The first is Rebirth itself, which becomes available around 77 Sextillion cash, the point at which Joe the Alien lands at your base. The second is the Investor total. Evolution stays locked until your lifetime Investor count crosses the threshold.
That total is cumulative, not just what’s sitting in your account. It includes Investors currently owned, any you’ve already spent on Powers, and the amount a fresh Rebirth would award. So if you’ve been burning Investors on Powers, you may be closer than your live counter suggests.

You’ll know it worked when the Void Evolution tab is selectable from the right-side menu, and the Evolve screen displays a progress bar. If you’ve clearly passed the Investor requirement but the menu still won’t open, rejoin the game to refresh your state, or report it through the official Bloxbyte Discord.
How the Evolution process works
After the altar opens the menu, a progress bar fills as you earn Investors. When it reaches 100%, the Evolve button becomes active. Pressing it resets your Investors, Powers, and most tycoon progress, much like a standard Rebirth, but rewards a permanent income speed multiplier in exchange.
The multipliers are multiplicative, not additive. Each one stacks on top of the last, so two Evolutions give x42 times x42, which is x1,764, rather than x84. That compounding is the entire point. Every run after an Evolution moves faster than the one before it.
Hitting certain milestones also swaps your primary fruit. After the first Evolution, your lemon business becomes an orange tycoon, with oranges selling for more, and later fruits replacing them at higher Evolution levels. If you’d rather skip the wait, the menu also offers an instant Evolve for 160 Robux.

All Sell Lemons Evolution fruits and Investor requirements
There are 10 tiers, from the base Lemon up to Purity. Each one demands an exponentially larger Investor count and returns a correspondingly larger income speed multiplier.
| Fruit (Level) | Required Investors | Income Speed Multiplier |
|---|---|---|
| Lemon (0) | None | x1 |
| Orange (1) | 501.2 Quadrillion | x42 |
| Lime (2) | 19.95 Nonillion | x1,764 |
| Grapefruit (3) | 794.3 Tredecillion | x74,088 |
| Tangerine (4) | 31.62 Octodecillion | x3,111,696 |
| Pomelo (5) | 1.259 Tresvigintillion | x130,691,232 |
| Abyssalime (6) | 50.12 Septenvigintillion | x5,489,031,744 |
| Nullfruit (7) | 1.995 Duotrigintillion | x230,539,333,248 |
| Voidlemon (8) | 79.43 Sextrigintillion | x9,682,651,996,416 |
| Purity (9) | 3.162 Unquadragintillion | x406,671,383,849,472 |
The first jump alone, from Lemon to Orange, hands you a x42 boost. By the time you reach Purity, the stacked multiplier sits north of 406 trillion, which is what makes each later run feel almost instant compared to the early grind.
Fastest way to climb Evolution tiers
Speed comes from tight loops, not longer sessions. Players who reach Abyssalime and beyond are running quick cycles where the income multiplier keeps shaving time off the next Rebirth. The pattern is simple. Rebuild your tycoon, rebirth for Investors, fill the Evolution bar, evolve, repeat.
Spending Investors on Powers before each Rebirth tends to outperform hoarding them, because that Power multiplier compounds with the Evolution multiplier. A rough pacing rule helps: if buying a single tycoon upgrade is taking more than 10 minutes, you should be rebirthing more often instead.
Clearing the sewer area is also worth doing early, since it opens two extra ways to earn cash and Investors that don’t exist on the base map. Pairing that route with the second major unlock in the same area gives you the cleanest path to the huge Investor totals the later fruits demand.
Once the portal is open and the loop clicks, the rest of Sell Lemons is really just a question of how many Evolutions you’re willing to chain. Each reset costs you the visible progress, but the permanent multiplier you keep makes the next climb shorter every single time.
