Your Schrift is the power that ends the Quincy progression chain in VV: ULTIMATUM, and there is no shortcut to it. The whole path is a fixed loop of Lieutenant missions, one big crafting project, a meditation phase, and a solo boss fight. Each stage locks the next, so the order below is the only way through.
Quick answer: Hit Level 25 to get the Soldat Cap, complete and report Lieutenant missions until prompted, buy the Sanrei Glove recipe for 300 Soul Tokens in the Wandenreich and craft it, finish 3 to 5 meditations at 70 Max Reiatsu to activate Letzt Stil, then defeat the Securis boss in the Arctic Plains and clear a few final missions to unlock your Schrift.

Quincy Schrift unlock requirements in VV Ultimatum
Quincy progression does not start until you reach Level 25, which is when you receive the Soldat Cap. From there, every milestone gates the one after it. You cannot craft the Sanrei Glove without enough reported missions, and you cannot earn your Schrift until Letzt Stil is active.
| Milestone | Requirement |
|---|---|
| Soldat Cap | Reach Level 25 |
| Sanrei Glove | Complete enough Lieutenant missions, then craft the glove |
| Letzt Stil | Continue missions and meditations after the Sanrei Glove |
| Schrift | Defeat Securis in the Arctic Plains |
Schrift usually lands around Level 69 to 70 with normal pacing. The two real bottlenecks are the Broken Quincy Medallion drop and the Securis fight, so plan around those.

Add to Google Preferences →Complete and report Lieutenant missions
Lieutenant missions are the main engine of Quincy progression. Press L to open the mission board and pick up an assignment. Each one carries a star rating from 1 to 3, and higher stars mean tougher tasks with more progression EXP.
There is a 5-minute cooldown between missions, so the fastest method is to take quick assignments and wait out the timer. After finishing one, press L again and choose Progress Report to check how far along you are. Never pick “Get New Task”, because that resets the cooldown and wastes your wait.
The Lieutenant’s dialogue tells you exactly where you stand on each mission.
| Dialogue | Meaning |
|---|---|
| “The job’s still not done yet” | Keep going |
| “You’re getting close” | Nearly finished |
| “The higher-ups will be happy… Report later for more tasks” | Mission complete |
Note: Finishing a mission is not enough on its own. You must return to the Lieutenant and select Report Task to actually receive the EXP. Talking to him without reporting gives no progression credit.

Craft the Sanrei Glove
After enough reported missions, the Lieutenant prompts you to obtain the Sanrei Glove. Head to the Wandenreich and find the NPC selling the recipe for 300 Soul Tokens. Once you own the recipe, you need three materials to craft it. Equipping the finished glove changes your L key to Meditate.
| Material | How to get it |
|---|---|
| Broken Quincy Medallion | Drops from the Rogue Quincy Commander (guaranteed) or Rogue Quincy Archers (~1%) |
| Frost Alloy | Crafted from three components |
| 2 Strange Essences | Drop from blue Hollow variants |
Where to farm Strange Essence
Strange Essence comes from light blue Hollows that spawn around the map. They look different from standard Hollows. The most reliable spot is the waterfall near spawn in Society Outskirts. Walk out of the spawn area, find the waterfall, and go inside it, where Hollows appear in a set location and drop the essence on death.

How to craft Frost Alloy
Frost Alloy is itself a crafted item built from three parts.
| Component | How to get it |
|---|---|
| Frost Deviant Shard | Kill Rogue Quincy Archers (red hats, red outfit, bow) near the AirWalk tower |
| Great Soul Essence | Combine 5 regular Soul Essences, which drop from Hollows in the Outskirts |
| Spirit Alloy | Buy from the merchant inside the Arctic Town |
How to get the Broken Quincy Medallion
This is the step where most players stall. The Rogue Quincy Commander spawns in the Arctic Plains near the large gate at the entrance, then roams the map. He travels with an army of Quincy soldiers and is a genuine fight, but if you take him down the medallion is a guaranteed drop.
The same red-hat Rogue Quincy Archers you farm for Frost Deviant Shards can also drop the medallion, but the rate sits around 1% or lower. The Commander route is far more dependable if you can survive it.

Activate Letzt Stil through meditation
With the Sanrei Glove equipped and Meditate online, keep running Lieutenant missions until the Lieutenant points you toward the meditation step. You then need to complete 3 to 5 meditations at 70 Max Reiatsu. Meditate, let the Reiatsu bar drain, wait for it to recover, and meditate again.
At some point during this loop, your Reiatsu bar stops falling all the way to the bottom. That is the sign your Reiatsu control is advancing. When the Lieutenant says something close to “You’re making progress… you might need more experience. Perhaps you should fight strong enemies”, control is achieved, and you move on to fighting NPCs.
Once the Lieutenant confirms you are ready, Letzt Stil activates. You can now gather Reishi past your normal cap, and popping Letzt Stil in combat restores HP, which matters for the boss fight coming next.

Defeat the Securis boss to unlock your Schrift
After Letzt Stil, the Lieutenant eventually hands you a final mission. A Shinigami has been killing Quincy soldiers and must be dealt with somewhere in the Arctic Plains, and the Lieutenant warns he is stronger than usual.
You know it worked when the Lieutenant says, “You have fully understood this power. You no longer require the glove to reach it. Turn your foes to ash”. That confirms your Schrift is unlocked. The first unlock hands you 5 rerolls, so you get several chances at a strong Schrift right away. You do not need to be in Letzt Stil to use it, just hold Control with your weapon drawn to activate the ability.

All Quincy Schrift types ranked
The Schrift you receive is randomized, but your 5 rerolls give you room to chase the best ones. Necromancer and The Superstar are the two strongest options, so target either if it appears. If you do not roll one, the Schrift is assigned at random.
| Schrift | Rarity | Tier | Playstyle |
|---|---|---|---|
| The Superstar | Legendary | S | Damage and sustain hybrid |
| Necromancer | Rare | S / B | Summon-based, polarizing |
| The Thunderbolt | Uncommon | A | AOE and ranged burst |
| The Heat | Rare | A / B | Reliable combo damage |
| The Dimensional | Uncommon | B | Defensive mobility |
| The Blademaster | Common | C / D | Entry-level, small hitbox |
Best stats for a Quincy build
You only get 100 skill points, and the most common mistake is spreading them thin across trees. Resetting after Level 20 costs either a one-time Robux purchase of around 1,000 Robux that cannot be repeated, or a Stat Reset Token crafted from endgame materials you cannot reach until late progression. Commit to one focus early.
| Stat | Effect | Priority |
|---|---|---|
| Reserves | Increases Reiatsu pool | Highest |
| Potency | Increases damage output | High |
| Haze | Decreases skill cooldowns | Good for ability-heavy builds |
| Posture | Increases maximum posture | Situational |
| Sho | Movement speed and shunpo stamina | Niche speedster builds only |
Quincy stays the most structured of the three races thanks to this clean mission loop, so once you clear the Broken Quincy Medallion grind and the Securis fight, the rest is mostly patience. Start your Lieutenant missions the moment you hit Level 25, report every task immediately, and prioritize 3-star assignments to move the bar faster.
