The Watchtower near Cazarro’s shop is one of the first landmarks you can raise in Mistfall Hunter, but it does not follow the same rules as the rest of your camp. Instead of tossing in a pile of loot you picked up on a raid, it asks for a single crafted item that most players simply do not have when they first reach it. That item is the Starsilver Spindle, and getting one takes a short chain of steps.
Quick answer: Buy a Starsilver Spindle from the Curio Shop at the Goddess Statue for 7,200 Star Silver, then hand it to the Watchtower to complete the upgrade. If you are short on Star Silver, refine it from Moonlight Nectar at the same Goddess Statue.
What the Watchtower upgrade actually needs
The Watchtower upgrade runs on a small resource chain rather than raw raid loot. Each step feeds the next, so it helps to see the whole path before you start spending anything.
| Resource | What it does | How you get it |
|---|---|---|
| Starsilver Spindle | The item the Watchtower requires to level up | Bought from the Curio Shop for 7,200 Star Silver |
| Star Silver | Currency used to buy the Spindle | Refined from Moonlight Nectar at the Goddess Statue |
| Moonlight Nectar | Raw material that converts into Star Silver | Mall purchase, NPC Journey milestones, or Slumbering Contracts |
Neither the Spindle, Star Silver, nor Moonlight Nectar drop as normal loot during expeditions. That is why the Watchtower feels different from other landmarks and why it takes longer to max out.

How to get Moonlight Nectar in Mistfall Hunter
Since Star Silver comes from Moonlight Nectar, this is the resource you will actually spend time gathering. There are three ways to earn it, and they differ sharply in cost.
| Method | Details |
|---|---|
| Mall | Buy Moonlight Nectar directly for 200 Soul Coins each. Soul Coins are purchased with real money, so this dips into microtransactions. |
| Journey Overview tasks | Complete NPC objectives and hit milestones to earn Nectar for free. The most cost-effective route. |
| Slumbering Contracts | Awards a small amount of Nectar as you complete them. |
The Mall route is the fastest, but Soul Coins are not cheap and many players prefer to save them for cosmetics. To find the Nectar there, open the menu, go to the Mall, and scroll to the bottom of the standard cosmetic shop.

The steadier, no-cost option is progressing through NPC tasks. Open the Task tab and go to the Journey Overview to see the progression checkpoints that reward Moonlight Nectar. These fill up naturally as you play, so you gradually collect enough to refine into Star Silver without spending anything.

What to expect from the rewards
Raising the Watchtower unlocks its next level and pays out cosmetic rewards, including multiple Legendary Emotes along the way and a cosmetic outfit at the top end. That final outfit sits well past the early levels, so do not expect to claim it quickly.
Because Moonlight Nectar is slow to gather no matter which route you take, spend it carefully. If you are still building out your base, prioritizing your core camp structures usually moves your progression forward faster than sinking early resources into the Watchtower, which remains one of the more time-consuming landmarks to fully complete.
