Ever wanted to get your Instagram account verified but didn’t know how to? Well, Instagram has now made it simpler for users to get their accounts verified directly from the Instagram app itself.
Anyone can request verification of their Instagram account through the app. However, you still have to be popular enough to be considered for a verified badge on your account.
How to get the Instagram account verified on iPhone
- Open the Instagram app, and go to your Profile tab.
- Tap on the menu icon on the top left corner of the screen, and select Settings.
- Tap Request verification on the settings page.
- Fill in your Full Name and attach a government-issued photo ID of yours.
- Hit the Send button.
That’s it. If your Instagram account meets the eligibility criteria for getting a verified badge, you’ll hear back from the Instagram team.
