Idle Mafia Game Big Update 7: What’s New & Next Update Countdown
Idle Mafia Game marks its biggest content milestones with numbered Big Update drops, and Big Update 7 is the version live now. These releases land on a dependable rhythm rather than at random, which is part of why the game — with about 17,000,000 lifetime visits and about 3,200 bosses building their empires at any given moment — has players circling back around each one.
A Big Update isn’t a one-off: the version number changes, but the slot keeps coming back. Stacks of Cash ships a fresh one roughly every ~16 days, so there’s always another on the near horizon. The next drop is scheduled for Wednesday, October 28 at 9 PM ET. The start time and the usual windows are on the card below.

How often updates land, and when
A new Big Update lands roughly every ~16 days. Across the runs so far, those drops have gone live in one of five recurring time-of-day windows: Monday at 5:00 PM ET, Wednesday at 9:00 PM ET, Thursday at 8:30 PM ET, Friday at 4:00 PM ET, and late Friday at 11:30 PM ET. Spreading launches across different days and hours means players scattered around the world each get a window that falls at a workable local time — a late-night release in New York can be a convenient morning or afternoon across Asia and the Pacific. The developer has run this rhythm 5 times so far.
Here is how the five windows convert across the major regions:
| Region | Mon window | Wed window | Thu window | Fri window | Late Fri window |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| US Eastern | 5:00 PM Mon | 9:00 PM Wed | 8:30 PM Thu | 4:00 PM Fri | 11:30 PM Fri |

What’s new in Big Update 7
Big Update 7 is the headline content push the community has been waiting on, and it’s the version to log in for right now. A Big Update is where Stacks of Cash bundles its most substantial additions at once rather than drip-feeding them, so it’s the moment to collect whatever the fresh drop puts in front of you — new systems and progression to fold into your idle empire — before settling back into the usual build. Full patch notes are still filtering out across the community; we update this page as the details firm up.

How it fits Idle Mafia Game’s rhythm
The Big Update is the anchor of Idle Mafia Game’s release calendar — the recurring beat the rest of the game’s activity orbits. Between drops, longer-running content keeps things moving: Season 1 is underway right now, giving bosses a steady track of goals to chase while the next numbered update builds, alongside the limited-time global boss fights the game rotates in and out. As of October 27, the every ~16 days update cadence is holding steady, and it remains the clearest signal of where Stacks of Cash is taking the game next.
