Infinity Nikki's version 2.5 update, titled "Where All Souls Return," brings two limited-time Resonance banners, four new outfits, and the Boneyard region as a continuation of the Itzaland storyline. The featured pieces include two 5-star sets with unique ability replacements and two 4-star sets with whimsicality abilities.
Release time: April 23, 2026 at 00:00 (UTC-7)

Banner and outfit overview
Each 5-star banner pairs with a complementary 4-star outfit sharing the same Resonance pool. The two 5-stars introduce new ability replacements for existing systems — bug-catching and archery — while the 4-stars add Whimsicality abilities for expressive interactions rather than utility.
| Banner | Outfit | Rarity | Attribute | Ability |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Eternal Cycle, Buried Past | Floral Rebirth | 5-star | Fresh | Bloomlight Shadowcatcher: Bug-Catching |
| Eternal Cycle, Buried Past | Evergreen Vow | 4-star | Cool | Bannered Glory: Whimsicality |
| Evertide of No Return | Guide of No Return | 5-star | Sexy | Guiding Star: Archery |
| Evertide of No Return | Heartward Hues | 4-star | Sweet | Spiritfire Play: Whimsicality |
Floral Rebirth (5-star, Fresh)
Floral Rebirth headlines the Eternal Cycle, Buried Past banner with a Fresh attribute and an ability that overrides the default bug-catching interaction. Activating Bloomlight Shadowcatcher lets Nikki sweep in every insect within a nearby radius at once, cutting out the one-by-one capture animation.
The outfit cycles through four named evolutions that unlock alternate cosmetic details as you progress:
- Floral Rebirth: Emerald Reverie
- Floral Rebirth: Awakening Hymn
- Floral Rebirth: Final Vow
- Floral Rebirth: Growth & Decay (full glow-up)

Guide of No Return (5-star, Sexy)
Guide of No Return runs on the Evertide of No Return banner and replaces the default archery action with Guiding Star: Archery. The outfit equips Nikki with the Soul Guidance bow, shifts her into an aerial attack stance, and unlocks new dynamic attack patterns that fire volleys of arrows at nearby Esselings.
Its evolution tree follows the same four-tier structure as Floral Rebirth:
- Guide of No Return: Commitment
- Guide of No Return: Valediction
- Guide of No Return: Fate
- Guide of No Return: Tranquility (full glow-up)
Each evolution unlocks additional outfit and interactive details, matching the progression pattern of the Fresh-attribute 5-star.

Evergreen Vow (4-star, Cool)
Evergreen Vow rides alongside Floral Rebirth on the Eternal Cycle, Buried Past banner. Its Bannered Glory: Whimsicality ability summons a warhorse that Nikki mounts while raising a banner overhead — a cinematic pose rather than a functional traversal tool.
Evolutions are limited to two tiers:
- Evergreen Vow: Covenant
- Evergreen Vow: Glory (full glow-up)

Heartward Hues (4-star, Sweet)
Heartward Hues sits on the Evertide of No Return banner beside Guide of No Return. The Spiritfire Play: Whimsicality ability calls up a small dancing flame at Nikki's fingertips that she plays with — another expressive interaction rather than a gameplay utility.
It shares the two-tier evolution format with Evergreen Vow:
- Heartward Hues: Rainbow
- Heartward Hues: Dream Colors (full glow-up)

How the pull system applies
Both 5-star banners use the standard Resonance rules. Pull rates and guarantees carry over unchanged from prior limited banners, and each 5-star outfit is built from multiple individual pieces rather than a single item.
| Rarity | Base rate | Guarantee |
|---|---|---|
| 5-star piece | 1.5% | Every 20 resonances |
| 4-star piece | 3.29% | Every 10 resonances |
| 3-star piece | 82.44% | No guarantee |
5-star items carry the new-piece guarantee, so duplicates never land in a single banner's featured pool — the full 5-star outfit is guaranteed within 180 draws. When a banner offers more than one 5-star, the Tidal Guidance selection locks your featured piece pool to the chosen outfit. Switching that selection resets the banner's pity, so commit before spending crystals.

Boneyard and the 2.5 story
Version 2.5 continues the main Itzaland storyline and adds Boneyard as an explorable region. The patch name, "Where All Souls Return," alongside outfit names like Guide of No Return and abilities referencing soul guidance, frames the new zone as an underworld-adjacent location tied to Itzaland's broader mythology.
Both 5-star abilities are replacements rather than additions — Floral Rebirth overwrites bug-catching, and Guide of No Return overwrites archery — so they stay active only while the outfit (or an ability-sharing piece) is worn. The 4-star whimsicality abilities are purely cosmetic flourishes that do not replace any core traversal or combat systems.
You can mark the switch by checking the global update timestamp on April 23, 2026 at 00:00 UTC-7, when servers roll over to version 2.5 and the new Resonance banners become available.
