Full completion in IRON NEST: Heavy Turret Simulator rests on 33 achievements, and they split cleanly into three jobs. You clear each campaign mission’s core objective, you push those same missions to gold on every performance medal, and you steer the story toward each of its four possible city endings. The dieselpunk artillery sim from Nick Nieuwoudt and Dominik Latos launched on August 6, 2026, and unlocking everything means mastering the firing loop across the entire mission list.
Quick answer: Complete every campaign mission objective, earn gold on all performance medals in each mission, and trigger all four ending branches (A City Silent, A City in Celebration, A City Subdued, and The Road Not Taken). Doing all three covers the full list of 33.

Mission objective achievements
These unlock the moment you finish a mission’s main task. You do not need a perfect score here, only a completed objective. Working through the campaign in order will pick most of them up naturally.
| Achievement | How to unlock |
|---|---|
| Just Calibrating | Land the initial calibration fire in “Calibration Fire.” |
| Honour Salute | Deliver fire and light on the target zones in “Fire and Light.” |
| For Their Own Good | Enforce the Liberation objective. |
| First Reply | Silence the enemy artillery batteries in “Counter-Battery.” |
| All Clear | Intercept the targets along the “Iron Road” mission. |
| Breakout | Break the enemy siege in “Siege of Cartagena.” |
| Cold Start | Survive the defensive engagement in “The Gorge.” |
| Flying False Colours | Complete the artillery strikes in “Rock of Gibraltar.” |
| Steady Hands | Finish the mission using dead reckoning targeting in “Dead Reckoning.” |
| The Gun Answers | Respond to the artillery support requests in “Fire on Call.” |
| Beachhead Denied | Turn back the enemy landing force in “High Tide.” |
| Nothing Was There | Complete the zero-visibility objective in “Blind Fire.” |
| Mirror Image | Locate and destroy the decoy position in “Phantom Battery.” |
| In the Dark | Clear the final sector objectives in the night mission “Final Harvest.” |

Add to Google Preferences →Gold performance medal achievements
This is the heaviest part of the list. Each mission awards a set of performance medals, and you must earn gold on all of them in that mission to trigger the matching achievement. Accurate map measurement and clean firing solutions on the ballistic calculator are what separate a pass from a gold, so expect to replay missions to tighten your scores.
Note that “White Shells” appears here through Pride of Castile even though it has no separate objective-only achievement, so make sure you run that mission for gold.
| Achievement | Mission (all medals gold) |
|---|---|
| Duty Fulfilled | Calibration Fire |
| Marksman’s Honour | Fire and Light |
| Exemplary Service | Liberation |
| Distinguished Conduct | Counter-Battery |
| Crowned in Brass | Iron Road |
| Naval Commendation | Siege of Cartagena |
| Order of Merit | Rock of Gibraltar |
| Quiet Precision | Dead Reckoning |
| Iron Discipline | Fire on Call |
| Coastal Defence Medal | High Tide |
| Unshaken | Blind Fire |
| Master Gunner | Phantom Battery |
| Night’s Precision | Final Harvest |
| Pride of Castile | White Shells |
| Valour Under Fire | The Gorge |
Story ending achievements
Four achievements hang on the fate of a target city. Each is a separate narrative outcome, so a single playthrough only gives you one of the four. You will need to replay the branching decision to reach the others.
| Achievement | Ending you must trigger |
|---|---|
| A City Silent | The city is completely wiped from the map. |
| A City in Celebration | The liberated city comes out to meet your forces. |
| A City Subdued | The city surrenders and accepts peace. |
| The Road Not Taken | The city is spared through the alternative choice path. |
Tip: Save before the decisive choice or use mission replay so you can cycle through all four outcomes without restarting the whole campaign.
How to confirm each achievement unlocked
When a mission objective completes or a medal hits gold, the achievement pops on screen and registers in your Steam profile. The clearest way to track your remaining targets is the game’s community stats page, which lists all 33 and their current state. You can open the full list on the official IRON NEST Steam hub.
If a gold-medal achievement does not fire, the usual cause is a single medal in that mission that is still short of gold rather than a missed objective. Re-run the mission and check the post-mission medal screen for any that landed on silver or bronze. For the ending achievements, the block is almost always that you have only seen one branch, so the other three simply have not been triggered yet.
Cleared all three groups and every ending, and the 100 percent completion marker on the game’s Steam achievements page confirms the full set is yours.
