Mutated players are the fastest way to boost your income in Jump to Steal Soccer Players. A mutated player sells for more and earns more cash per second than its normal version, so a base packed with mutations pulls far ahead of one built on plain players. Every mutation comes from a single source, and you can push the odds in your favor by timing your Lucky Block runs.
Quick answer: Open Lucky Blocks. Every Lucky Block that spawns has a small chance to give a mutated player, and mutated Lucky Blocks (such as Volcanic, Cosmic, and Poison) give a higher chance of their matching mutation. Open them during the matching weather event to raise the spawn rate.
All 9 mutations and their money multipliers
As of the Spain Update, there are nine mutations. Each one raises both the player’s sale value and its earning rate by the same multiplier. The higher the multiplier, the more valuable the player.

Note: The Cursed and Slimey mutations have not been documented yet, so their multipliers and best sources remain unconfirmed. Rainbow, Taco, and Cosmic tie for the highest known multiplier at 3x, which makes them the top targets if you are chasing maximum earnings.
How to get mutated players from Lucky Blocks
Mutations only come from Lucky Blocks. There is no crafting, buying, or upgrading path that turns a normal player into a mutated one, so opening Lucky Blocks is the entire method.
Use weather events to raise your mutation odds
Mutated Lucky Blocks can spawn in any area of the map, but their spawn chance climbs during the matching weather event. A Volcanic Lucky Block is far more likely to appear during the Volcano Event, a Rainbow Lucky Block during the Rainbow Event, and so on. If you want a specific mutation, wait for its event and farm blocks while it is active.
Events start at random times, so you cannot rely on a fixed schedule. To plan around them, check the event board above the Upgrade Shops. It shows which event is coming and when, letting you position yourself before the mutated Lucky Blocks start appearing.
You will know a mutation landed as soon as you open the block, since the player appears with its mutation type and the boosted sale value and earning rate attached. From there, it is simply a matter of repeating event runs to replace your plain players with the highest multipliers you can collect.
