Playing as Naoya Zenin in KAIZEN comes down to three things: rolling the Zenin clan, leveling Projection Sorcery through its mastery tiers, and clearing the Zenin Estate Ruins raid for his signature gear. Each step is gated, so the order matters.
Quick answer: Use Clan Spins until you roll Zenin (0.03% drop chance). Equip Projection Sorcery, then farm mastery to unlock its moves up to Time Cell Moon Palace at Mastery Lv. 100. Finally, run the Zenin Estate Ruins raid (Lvl 90+) and beat the boss Naoya to earn his outfit.

Roll the Zenin clan with Clan Spins
Projection Sorcery is tied to the Zenin clan, and the only way to get it is through Clan Spins. Zenin sits at a 0.03% drop rate, so expect to burn a large stack of spins. Using auto-spin lets you cycle rolls quickly instead of clicking one at a time.
You know the roll landed when your clan changes to Zenin and the clan perk Determined (TEC) appears on your character. Those perks are a flat power boost across melee, defense, and stamina.
| Zenin perk | Bonus |
|---|---|
| Melee | +16 |
| Stamina | +13 |
| Defense | +9 |
| Weapon | +9 |
| Melee DMG | +7% |
| Weapon DMG | +7% |
| Max Stamina | +6% |
Tip: Redeemable codes hand out free Clan Spins, which cuts down how much you grind for the roll. Codes like Naoya! and Projection! have appeared in-game, and the game’s own listing includes TojiAwakens! and KaizenQuality!. Redeem them from the gear button in the top-left of the menu, then paste a code and hit verify on the KAIZEN experience page.

The clan roll gives you the technique, but the look is set in character customization. Enter these values to mirror Naoya, including the green hair color.
| Customization slot | Value |
|---|---|
| Face | 6 |
| Mouth | 7 |
| Hair [1] | 32 (colored green) |
| Shirt | 9 |
| Pants | 5 |
| Shoes | 3 |
Unlock every Projection Sorcery move
Projection Sorcery unlocks its moves as you raise mastery. Each move is locked behind a specific mastery level, so you cannot skip ahead. The domain expansion, Time Cell Moon Palace, is the final unlock at max mastery.
| Move | Key | Mastery Lv. |
|---|---|---|
| Frame Grasp | Z | 0 |
| Frame Breaker | X | 20 |
| Heaven Splitter | C | 45 |
| Speed Rend | V | 75 |
| Time Cell Moon Palace (Domain Expansion) | R | 100 |
Mastery climbs by landing Projection Sorcery moves on enemies. The fastest route is to spam your unlocked moves on mobs, then check the technique menu after each tier to confirm the next move is available. A move stays greyed out until you hit its listed level.

Clear the Zenin Estate Ruins raid for Naoya’s rewards
The Zenin Estate Ruins raid is where you fight and beat Naoya himself. It requires a character at Level 90+, and you can run it on Easy difficulty to start. The fight has three stages before the drops.

Beating Naoya drops Yen, more Clan Spins, Cursed Frames, and his outfit pieces, listed in-game as jinichiTop and jinichi Bottom. Run the raid again if you want duplicates or missed a drop on the first clear.
If the raid does not appear or you cannot enter, the usual cause is being under Level 90. Level up first, then the entry unlocks. Once you have the Zenin clan, maxed Projection Sorcery mastery, and Naoya’s outfit from the raid, the full Naoya Zenin build is complete.
