Lacrimosa in NTE: Release Window and How to Pull Her

Lacrimosa is an S-Rank Chaos character in Neverness to Everness, built around stacking Nightmare with her Frying Pan and Red Jelly modules. Players hunting for her in the launch window have run into a wall: she is not on the standard banner, and the opening version 1.0 schedule does not lead with her.

Quick answer: No official banner date for Lacrimosa has been confirmed. She is not part of the standard S-Rank pool, and version 1.0 opens with Nanally followed by Hotori, so any Lacrimosa rate-up would arrive on a later limited banner after those runs.

Lacrimosa's status at launch

Neverness to Everness launched on April 29, 2026, across PC, mobile, and PlayStation 5. The version 1.0 featured character lineup centers on Nanally and Hotori, who are running back-to-back as the headliner banners during the opening weeks.

Lacrimosa is confirmed as a playable Chaos S-Rank affiliated with the Bureau of Anomaly Control's ETD-4, but she is not listed among the standard banner S-Rank pool. That places her in the same bucket as other limited featured characters who rotate in on their own rate-up banners after the initial run.

Version 1.0 banner order

The opening banner sequence sets the earliest possible window for any later character. Lacrimosa cannot appear before these slots conclude.

SlotFeatured characterDuration
1Nanally2 weeks
2Hotori3 weeks
3+Not announced

That gives roughly a five-week opening cycle before any new featured banner can begin. Lacrimosa is a candidate for a later slot, but Hotta Studio has not named her as the next rate-up.

How limited S-Rank characters are obtained

Neverness to Everness uses a standard gacha structure with separate banners for limited featured characters. Limited S-Ranks like Lacrimosa are not added to the permanent standard pool, so the only reliable way to pull her will be through her own featured banner when it goes live.

Until that banner is announced, any pulls on the standard or current featured banners will not include her. Saving pull currency is the only practical preparation.

What to do while waiting

Step 1: Hold your premium pull currency. Do not spend it on the standard banner expecting Lacrimosa to appear, since limited S-Ranks are kept off that pool.

Step 2: Watch the official channels for banner announcements. Hotta Studio publishes version updates and featured character schedules through the game's official site and in-game notices.

Step 3: Check the in-game banner screen at each version update. New featured banners are added with patch rollouts, and the rate-up character is shown directly on the wish/banner interface.

Lacrimosa kit summary for planning

If you are weighing whether to save for her, her role is a main DPS that stacks Nightmare and detonates damage-over-time bursts. She switches between two attack stances with distinct ultimates and benefits heavily from teammates that trigger Esper Cycle reactions like Nova, Scorch, or Discord.

How you will know she is available

Her banner becoming live is the only confirmation that matters. You will see Lacrimosa featured on the wish banner UI with a rate-up indicator, and Hotta Studio will publish a version preview or banner announcement on the official site and in-game news feed before that window opens.

Until that happens, treat any leaked dates with skepticism. Pre-launch and early-launch testing schedules have already been finalized, but the post-Hotori banner order has not been disclosed.
