Lineage Piece Huge Stone: Ore Drop Chances and Full Event Guide

Where the Huge Stone spawns, how often it appears, and the exact drop chance for every ore tier it gives.

The Huge Stone is a low-effort world event in Lineage Piece that exists for one reason: farming Ore. It is a giant grey boulder with 500,000,000 health that appears on the starter island, and destroying it rewards you with the ore tiers used to upgrade your weapons at the Blacksmith. It does not fight back, so the only real barrier is timing and competition from other players on the server.

Quick answer: The Huge Stone spawns every 20 minutes in real time at Dawnwind Village and lasts 5 minutes before despawning. Land at least one hit that registers on the contribution table before it dies, and you will receive ore drops ranging from Common (56%) up to Lineage (0.1%).

Where and when the Huge Stone spawns

The event appears at Dawnwind Village, the starter island, and is open to players from level 0 up to level 250. You will find the boulder at the back of the island, on the darkest strip of stone, facing the direction of Jujutsu High School. Because it sits on the first island, even a brand-new character can farm it.

The spawn runs on a strict 20-minute real-time cycle. Once the stone appears, you have 5 minutes to break it. If nobody destroys it in that window, it despawns and you wait for the next cycle. Setting a phone timer or a reminder from the moment it dies keeps you at the spot for the next spawn.

All ore drop chances from the Huge Stone

The Huge Stone can drop seven ore tiers, and you can pick up multiple ores from a single kill. Common ore fills most of your inventory, while Lineage ore is extremely rare. The full drop chance for each tier is below.

Ore tierDrop chance
Common Ore56%
Uncommon Ore22%
Rare Ore10%
Epic Ore7%
Legendary Ore3.5%
Mythical Ore1.4%
Lineage Ore0.1%

Note: the in-game drop panel next to the stone may display a shorter list of tiers during the fight, but the higher tiers such as Mythical and Lineage still roll on kills, just at the very low rates shown above.

How to guarantee you get ore drops

The Huge Stone is easy to damage, but drops are tied to contribution. You must deal enough damage to register on the contribution table before the boulder reaches zero health. On busy servers, multiple players camp the spawn point and race to break it, so a weapon with reasonable damage matters more than survivability here.

Return to Dawnwind Village a minute or two before the 20-minute mark and position yourself at the boulder’s spawn point at the back of the island.
The moment the stone appears, open with your strongest weapon and any active fruit abilities. Prioritize raw damage output over dodging, since the stone poses no real threat.
Confirm the drop. Ore notifications appear on screen as you hit it, and the collected ores show up under the Material tab in your Storage menu. Reset your timer as soon as it breaks and repeat on the next cycle.

If you receive no ore, the usual cause is that the stone died before your hits registered on the contribution table. Landing at least one solid hit early in the fight avoids this.

Using ore at the Blacksmith

Ore feeds the Blacksmith system, which raises the damage of your Melee and Sword weapons. The Blacksmith NPC is located in Lineage Town. Each weapon can be upgraded up to Tier 10, and reaching Tier 10 grants a +20% damage bonus on that weapon.

Higher upgrades cost rarer ores in larger amounts, and the forge success rate drops by 10% per tier. Early upgrades are safe, while the final tiers carry a real chance of failure.

Upgrade stepSuccess rate
Tier 1 → Tier 2100%
Tier 9 → Tier 1010%

Because success drops sharply near the top, spend your rare ores deliberately on weapons you plan to keep long-term rather than early-game gear you will replace.

Playtime rewards as a second ore source

If you cannot catch every spawn, Playtime Rewards act as a passive backup. This is a time-based gifting system that hands out progressively rarer rewards the longer you stay in game, including ores up to Mythic tier. The rewards reset every 24 hours, so checking in daily adds ore to your stockpile without camping the boulder.

Between the 20-minute Huge Stone cycle and daily Playtime Rewards, you have a steady, predictable pipeline of ore to feed the Blacksmith. Start the routine early, keep a timer running, and prioritize contribution on every spawn to build a reserve before you push weapons toward Tier 10.
