Most Roblox chopping simulators give each player their own little tree. Lumberjack Stars gives everyone on the server the same one. A single giant tree sits in the middle of the map with one shared health bar, and every player hacks at it at the same time. Each swing puts logs in your bag. When the bar finally empties, the tree comes down for everybody, the stump opens up, and the game rolls a wheel to decide what grows next. The trees are numbered as they fall, so a server that has been running for a while will be on something like Giant Tree #307 before you even arrive.
Quick answer: Every player hits the same tree. When its total health reaches zero, a “TIMBER!!!” prompt fires, the stump opens an underground training chamber, and a wheel picks the next tree.
How the shared tree works in Lumberjack Stars
The tree is a group health pool, not a personal one. Your damage and everyone else’s come off the same bar, so a busy server brings trees down far faster than a quiet one. Floating numbers pop off the trunk with each hit, like +59 or +261, and that number is the count of logs going into your bag. A stronger axe means bigger numbers per swing. It also means you take a bigger bite out of the shared health bar.

The pace of a single tree depends almost entirely on how strong the server is. Early in a session a Giant Tree takes a few minutes of steady chopping. Later, once several players are carrying high-end axes, a common Birch Tree can drop in a matter of seconds.

Add to Google Preferences →Logs, bag capacity, and the sawmill
Logs are not money yet. They sit in your bag until you carry them to the sawmill, which is marked with yellow rings on the ground. Animated yellow arrows run from the tree to the drop point so you can always find the route. At the start, a full bag of 3 logs sells for 30 coins and a bag of 6 sells for 60. That works out to 10 coins per log at that stage.

Bag size is the limit on the whole loop. Once your bag is full, extra swings earn nothing until you make the trip. That is why the game ties carry capacity to your strength stat, and why so many of its upgrades and Robux purchases raise capacity. Late in a long session, capacity climbs past 135,000 logs.
Strength, speed, and the five-step tutorial
Lumberjack Stars has two trainable stats beside the tree. Strength raises how many logs your bag holds, and speed raises how fast you walk between the trunk and the sawmill. The opening tutorial runs through both in five prompts:
- “STEP 1/5 – TAP THE GIANT TREE TO CHOP!”
- “STEP 2/5 – BRING YOUR WOOD TO THE SAWMILL!”
- “STEP 3/5 – CHOP THE FREE STUMPS SO YOUR BAG HOLDS MORE!”
- “STEP 4/5 – YOUR BAG IS BIGGER! TAP THE GIANT TREE TO FILL IT!”
- “STEP 5/5 – RUN ON THE FREE LOGS TO GET FAST!”
The free stump station trains strength. One short session there takes strength to level 12 and doubles the bag from 3 logs to 6. The free log roll trains speed, and a quick run on it pushes walk speed to 24. More stations unlock as you go, including 2X and 5X strength and speed pads. When the tutorial ends, the game tells you to buy the Iron Axe and help finish the tree.

What happens when the tree falls: The King’s Room
Felling the tree is the payoff for the whole server. Once the health bar hits zero, the “TIMBER!!!” prompt appears, the tree drops, and a portal opens in the stump. It leads down into an underground chamber that holds the King’s Room. Everyone can jump in, and training down there runs on multipliers, so speed, strength, and carry capacity grow faster than they do on the surface pads.

The chamber is also where the game shows some personality. Squirrel NPCs run on exercise wheels, eat pancakes, and wait on King Squirrel. The window is short, though. The next tree usually spawns within about 90 seconds, and then the server goes back to chopping.
The tree wheel and tree rarities
Lumberjack Stars does not repeat the same tree every round. After each felling, a roulette wheel spins to pick the next type and its rarity. The numbering keeps counting no matter what the wheel lands on.
| Rarity | Tree types on the wheel |
|---|---|
| Common | Oak, Redwood, Giant, Birch |
| Legendary | Green, Purple, Lava |
Over roughly 20 minutes of play, the wheel produced Birch Tree #308, Redwood #309, Birch Tree #310, Giant Tree #311, Great Oak #312, Birch Tree #313, and Giant Tree #314 in a row. After that, the server took down a legendary Purple Tree. Global leaderboards near the tree track Trees Felled, Strength, and Speed, so every felling counts toward a public ranking.

Lumberjack Stars axe tiers and prices
Coins mostly go into the Axe Shop. Each tier multiplies chop power, which is both your log haul per swing and your share of the tree’s damage. Most tiers also add a small boost to chopping speed. From the Golden Axe up, each tier can be bought with either coins or Robux.
| Axe | Power | Chopping speed | Price |
|---|---|---|---|
| Rusty Axe | 1x | — | Starting axe |
| Iron Axe | 3x | 1.1x | 60 coins |
| Steel Axe | 8x | 1.1x | 400 coins |
| Golden Axe | 20x | 1.2x | 1,000 coins / R$ 20 |
| Diamond Axe | 50x | 1.2x | 10K coins / R$ 240 |
| Inferno Axe | 120x | 1.3x | 50K coins / R$ 280 |
| Chainsaw | 300x | 1.5x | 235K coins / R$ 320 |
| Galaxy Axe | 750x | 1.7x | 2.37M coins / R$ 360 |
| Thunderstrike | 2,000x | 1.8x | 49.87M coins / R$ 440 |
| Glacier Reaver | 5,000x | 2x | 999.76M coins / R$ 520 |
| Volcano Titan | 12,000x | 2.1x | 20B coins / R$ 640 |
| Dragon’s Breath | 30,000x | 2.2x | 500B coins / R$ 800 |
One axe sits outside the ladder. The Timber King comes in the Starter Bundle for R$ 24, with 90x power, +25% carry, and +25% walk speed. That puts it just under the Inferno Axe in raw power for a fraction of the coin cost.
Saplings, merging, and free rewards
Chopping sometimes drops a sapling, which works as an equippable pet with a passive bonus. Rare finds trigger a server-wide banner, such as “OTTER FOUND A SNOWY BIRCH!” Duplicate saplings can be merged in the inventory into Golden versions with stronger bonuses.
| Sapling | Rarity | Bonus |
|---|---|---|
| Sprout | Common | +1% Chop Power |
| Acorn Buddy | Common | +3% Capacity |
| Golden Acorn Buddy | Golden (merged) | +5% Carry |
| Pine Pup | Rare, 1 in 100 | +8% Training Speed |
| Golden Pine Pup | Golden, 2-star (merged) | +22% Training |
| Maple Kid | Rare, 1 in 100 | +8% Capacity |
| Snowy Birch | Epic, 1 in 500 | +16% Training Speed |
| Golden Oak | 1 in 2,500 | — |
Some saplings and coins come free. Joining the Lumberjack Stars Roblox community group, run by LunarMGMT, grants a Free Pine Pup listed at +10% coins forever. Playtime Gifts also pay out the longer you stay on a server. The 15-minute gift is a Sprout sapling. The 35-minute gift is a coin chest, which paid out 7,036,673 coins in one late-session claim.
Robux gamepasses in Lumberjack Stars
The game shop sells permanent multipliers that stack on top of training and saplings. Carry and strength each come in tiers that you buy one after another, and the top tier for both is 5X.
| Gamepass | Price | Effect |
|---|---|---|
| 2X Carry | 80 R$ | Double bag capacity |
| 3X Carry | 160 R$ | Triple bag capacity |
| 4X Carry | 280 R$ | Quadruple bag capacity |
| 5X Carry | 440 R$ | Max carry tier |
| 2X Strength | 64 R$ | Double strength gains |
| 3X Strength | 120 R$ | Triple strength gains |
| 5X Strength | 320 R$ | Max strength tier |
| 2X Coins | 120 R$ | Double coins |
| Lava Viking | 640 R$ | Transformation morph |
Equipping the Lava Viking pass turns your avatar into a horned figure clad in magma armor. Trees felled and walk speed each increase by +200%, chop power rises by +200%, and swing speed improves by +50%. Each tree you help fell therefore counts three times on the leaderboard. Carry upgrades are the most noticeable. With the Starter Bundle and 4X Carry pass, the bag held 2,250 logs, compared with 3 in the tutorial bag.
None of these passes are required to take part in a felling. Every player on the server shares the same tree, the same TIMBER moment, and the same trip into the King’s Room, whatever axe they carry.
Late-game Lumberjack Stars
After about 20 minutes, a player who started with a Rusty Axe and a three-log bag can be swinging the Thunderstrike with a carry capacity above 135,000 logs, helping drop a legendary Purple Tree. Most of that jump comes from shared rounds. Each tree the server fells opens the underground chamber again, every trip there speeds up training, and stronger players make the next tree fall faster for the whole server.
