NBA 2K27 Badge Requirements for Every MyPLAYER Build

Every attribute threshold and height limit that unlocks all 53 badges at Bronze, Silver, Gold, and Hall of Fame.

Every attribute threshold and height limit that unlocks all 53 badges at Bronze, Silver, Gold, and Hall of Fame.

Badges in NBA 2K27 only equip once your MyPLAYER hits a specific attribute rating, and several of them also lock behind a minimum or maximum height. Miss a threshold by a single point and the badge stays greyed out, which is why the exact numbers matter before you spend attribute points on a build.

Quick answer: Each badge unlocks at Bronze, Silver, Gold, and Hall of Fame once your rating meets that tier’s number. Badges marked “and” need every listed attribute at or above the number; badges marked “or” need only one of them. If a height range is listed, your build must fall inside it even when your attributes qualify.

How NBA 2K27 badge unlocks work

There are 53 badges in total, 19 of them new, spread across Finishing, Shooting, Playmaking, Defense, Rebounding, and Physicals. Your MyPLAYER starts with 20 badge slots, and you fill those slots with Badge Tokens rather than automatic unlocks.

Badge Tokens come from filling the six discipline meters based on in-game performance, plus Team Practice drills, Gatorade workouts, Build Specialization, Season rewards, and Crew rewards. Meeting the attribute number makes a badge eligible; a token then equips it at the tier you qualify for.

Note: Beyond Hall of Fame there is a Legend tier that you reach through Synergy boosts and in-season progression rather than raw attribute totals, so it is not tied to a fixed rating like the four base tiers.

Two rules decide whether a badge is even reachable for your build. When two attributes are joined by “and,” both must hit the listed number. When they are joined by “or,” any one attribute clears it. Height gates are absolute, so a guard capped at 6’4″ cannot equip a badge that requires a minimum of 6’5″, no matter how high the ratings climb.

Finishing badge requirements

Finishing badges govern layups, dunks, and post scoring. Slashers should watch Posterizer closely, since Hall of Fame demands a 99 Driving Dunk and 90 Vertical, while several post badges gate behind a 6’5″ minimum.

Shooting badge requirements

Shooting badges scale with Three-Point Shot, Mid-Range Shot, and Post Control. Deep-range specialists face steep Hall of Fame costs, and smaller guards should note Mini Marksman caps at 6’4″.

Playmaking badge requirements

Playmaking badges run on Ball Handle, Pass Accuracy, Speed With Ball, and Post Control. Strong Handle stands out because Hall of Fame needs only a 78 Ball Handle but a heavy 95 Strength, which opens the door to bigger guard builds.

Defense badge requirements

Defensive badges cover perimeter lockdowns, rim protection, and steals. Many of them stack two attributes, so plan Perimeter Defense with Agility, or Interior Defense with Strength, before you commit points.

Rebounding badge requirements

Rebounding badges pair Offensive or Defensive Rebound with either Strength or Vertical. Sync Snatcher is the flexible one, unlocking from either rebounding rating alone.

Physicals badge requirements

Physicals badges lean on Strength, Speed, Agility, and Vertical. They cover screening, contact, and off-ball movement, and most are open to any height.

Set your height first, since a build outside a badge’s range can never equip it regardless of ratings. From there, map your attribute caps to the tiers you want, then earn Badge Tokens to slot the badges you have made eligible. Aim for the exact Gold or Hall of Fame breakpoints on the badges central to your role, and treat the softer “or” badges as bonuses you can pick up along the way.
