The Wood Golem Awakening turns your character into a towering wooden titan with its own five-move kit, and it is gated behind one of the longest quest chains in Ninja Time. There is no shortcut around it. You need the right clan, the right family, and a checklist of bosses, hauling runs, damage totals, and mini-games before the Ancient Tree will hand over Golem Form.
Quick answer: Roll the Mythical Thousand Hands clan, equip the Wood family, then complete The Forest’s Chosen from the Ancient Tree in the Dead Forest and turn in the Wood Heart and Wood Scroll.
Clan and family requirements before the quest appears
The Ancient Tree will not offer the questline unless you are running the correct build. Two things have to be true at the same time.
- The Mythical Thousand Hands clan, rolled from clan spins. It sits below the Legendary+ tier at roughly a 0.14 percent chance.
- The Wood family equipped in the customization menu.
The low roll chance is the main obstacle, and many players use hundreds of clan tokens before getting it. Free spins can reduce that cost. Visit Ninja Time on Roblox, open the upper-left Menu, choose Extra Menu, select Codes, and redeem WoodGolemAwakening! to receive 15 spins. Each code works once per account and is case sensitive, so enter it exactly as shown.
Once Thousand Hands is equipped, the game issues Hashirama’s red plated armor, black undershirt, and Konoha forehead protector automatically. You can still tune hair, skin tone, and face in the character menu.

Add to Google Preferences →Where to find the Ancient Tree and start The Forest’s Chosen
The quest giver is an NPC tree tucked inside the Dead Forest. It is easy to walk past, since it looks like scenery until you get close enough to see the glowing yellow eyes on the trunk. A waypoint marker appears once you are in range, showing the distance to the Ancient Tree.
Interact with it and pick the option to awaken the Wood Golem, then confirm that you will face the trials. That accepts The Forest’s Chosen and opens the first objective, which asks you to take down two bosses.

Skill tree moves to unlock before the grind
You will be dealing millions of damage across this questline, so spend your mastery early. The Thousand Hands skill tree, found under Elements, holds Buddha Palm, Wood Expulsion, Wood Dragon, Wooden Gates, Venom Flowers, Thousand Hands, and Blue Nature Aura.
Mastery experience comes fastest from White Clones at the training area and from regular boss runs, which also feeds the damage objective later.

The Wood element kit itself covers Wood Hit, Wood Projectile, Wood Prison, Wood Grab, Wood Deep Forest, and Clones. Wood Grab wraps a target in a wooden dome and lifts it, which is useful for locking down a boss between cooldowns.

Clones summons several wood copies that swarm a single target, which stacks damage quickly on stationary enemies and dummies.

Every objective in The Forest’s Chosen
The chain runs in a fixed order, and each stage only appears after the previous one is cleared.
| Stage | Objective | Where |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | Defeat Meteor (Madara) | Ocean boss area |
| 2 | Defeat Thousand Hands (Hashirama) | Boss arena |
| 3 | Carry heavy boulders to the flags | Training grounds to white flag |
| 4 | Deal 3,000,000 damage | Any enemies |
| 5 | Beat Kurama on Hard Mode | Kurama raid |
| 6 | Collect Nature Essence | Raid and boss drops |
| 7 | Defeat the Wood Golem Boss | Wood Golem spawn |
| 8 | Get the Wood Scroll | Thousand Hands boss rerun |
| 9 | Meditation and balancing mini-games | Mount Maki, Toad Forest |
| 10 | Turn in both items | Ancient Tree |
Some totals differ between runs. Boulder hauls have shown up as four and as five, and the Nature Essence requirement can appear as 25 at one stage and 50 at another. Trust the number in your own quest tracker rather than a fixed figure.
Boss fights, HP totals, and the drops you need
Four fights carry the whole questline. Two are straight kill objectives, and two exist purely for item drops.
| Boss | HP | What you get |
|---|---|---|
| Meteor (Madara) | 250,000 | Quest progress |
| Thousand Hands (Hashirama) | 250,000 | Progress, then Wood Scroll |
| Kurama (Hard Mode) | Raid boss | Nature Essence |
| Wood Golem Boss | 1,500,000 | Wood Heart |
Kurama Hard Mode and Nature Essence
Joining a Kurama Hard Mode raid handles two objectives at once. The damage you pour into the fight counts toward the 3,000,000 total, and clearing it satisfies the Hard Mode kill requirement while paying out essences in the reward screen. Nature Essence also drops from bosses such as Jiraya, Prodigy, and Yellow Thunder if you need to top up.

Wood Golem Boss and the Wood Heart
The Wood Golem Boss is the single biggest health pool in the chain at 1,500,000 HP, and it guards the Wood Heart. The item lands directly in your inventory on defeat, so check there before leaving the area.
Wood Scroll from the Thousand Hands boss
The second item, the Wood Scroll, comes from fighting the Thousand Hands boss again. It is not guaranteed. The drop sits at roughly 15 percent, so expect several resets before it appears in the rewards list.
Boulder carrying and the 3,000,000 damage objective
The boulder stage is the slowest part of the questline. Pick up a heavy boulder at the training grounds and walk it to the white flag marker, which sits more than 2,000 meters away, then repeat the run for each remaining boulder. Delivery points are near the Yuhi NPC.
Bind Rush to E in the gameplay settings before you start. Carrying slows you down badly, and the extra movement option cuts a lot of time off each trip.
The damage requirement is easier than it sounds. Three million total damage accumulates across any enemies, and a single Kurama Hard Mode raid can cover most or all of it if you are running a levelled Thousand Hands kit.
Meditation and balancing mini-games
After both items are in your inventory, the quest switches to two skill checks. One is the meditation mini-game, which requires a higher meditation level. If you cannot start it, buy the Meditation IV Necklace from the Yuhi NPC and try again.
The other is a balancing challenge played on tall wooden pillars in the Toad Forest, with the meditation stage completed at Mount Maki. Both are short, but a failed attempt means restarting that mini-game rather than the quest.
Turning in the quest and confirming Golem Form is unlocked
Return to the Ancient Tree in the Dead Forest with the Wood Heart and Wood Scroll still in your inventory and interact with it. Both items are consumed in the dialogue, and the awakening is granted immediately afterward.
You will know it worked when Golem Form appears as a usable awakening on your moveset, and the Wood Heart and Wood Scroll disappear from your inventory. Activating it swaps your character for the giant wooden golem model.
Golem Form stats and moveset
The awakening is a permanent stat boost as well as a transformation. It grants +50% Chakra Mastery and +15% Ninjutsu Mastery, which carries over to the rest of your Thousand Hands kit.
While transformed, you get five dedicated moves:
- Golem Gatling
- Golem Shoulder
- Golem Palm
- Golem Nature Beam
- Golem Chakra Punch
Everything before the turn-in can be done solo except the Kurama raid, which is far quicker with a group. If you are still hunting the clan roll, that is the stage worth spending your spins on, because nothing else in the chain opens until Thousand Hands and Wood are both equipped.
