Day Off is a hidden S-Rank Arc Disk in Neverness to Everness (NTE) tied to a six-step encounter chain with an anomaly NPC named Eclipse. There are no quest markers, no journal entries, and no map pings. The chain only progresses when you visit each location with the time set to morning and the weather set to Sunny.
Quick answer: Finish Prologue I and Prologue II, then speak to Eclipse near the ReroRero Phone Booth at the Bureau of Anomaly Control (Area M10). Set the time to 8:00 and weather to Sunny, then meet her on the Film Orbit Studio roof, the Oops Chest Gift Shop rooftop in Illusion Town, the Coastal Highway beach stairs, and the top of Tikal Bridge. Return to the BaC starting spot to claim the Day Off Arc Disk.

Prerequisites for the Day Off Arc Disk
The Eclipse encounter chain stays locked until you have cleared the opening story beats and unlocked free travel around Hethereau. If Eclipse is not standing by the energy ball at BaC Headquarters, the prerequisite has not registered yet, or the in-game time is wrong.
- Complete Prologue I (nullify MANISH).
- Complete Prologue II (finish the commission and return-home beat).
- Have access to the Bureau of Anomaly Control (BaC) in Area M10, far south on the world map.
- Be able to open the Time System from the in-game phone menu to set time and weather.
Climbing helps a great deal in steps 2, 3, and 5. Nanally’s wall-running skill, in particular, makes the Tikal Bridge climb significantly faster, but it is not required.

Eclipse encounter walkthrough (six steps)
Each step after the first requires the same condition window: time set to roughly 8:00–10:00 and weather set to Sunny. If Eclipse is missing at the listed spot, reopen the Time System, force the conditions again, and reload the area.

Why the chain stalls
The encounter only advances when both conditions are correct. Treat each step as a fresh checklist before fast-traveling.
- Time outside the 8:00–10:00 morning window will hide Eclipse at the next location.
- Any weather other than Sunny will block the spawn, even if the time is correct.
- Skipping Step 1 at the BaC means the rest of the chain will not register, even if you stand on the correct rooftops.
- You cannot speak to Eclipse again at BaC between Step 1 and Step 6; only the listed map locations advance the chain.
Confirmation that a step worked is simple. Eclipse finishes her line and teleports away on her own. If she does not vanish after dialogue, the step did not register, and the conditions need to be reset before retrying.

Bonus: World Changer achievement with Day Off
Equipping the Day Off Arc unlocks a short follow-up at Unheard Shores in the southwest. Activate the local Wertheimer Tower to clear the fog, then find the Curious Kid standing nearby who talks about wanting to see a solar eclipse.
Set the in-game time to mid-afternoon (around 15:00) so the sun is in the direction the kid is facing, then trigger Day Off’s Eclipse skill (B on keyboard, R on controller). Speak to the kid again while the Eclipse is active to receive the World Changer achievement.
Note: Day Off scales sharply with rank. Even at base rank, the 30% ATK bonus and Ultimate Energy refunds make it a strong fit for Zero or any wearer who leans on Ultimate rotations, so it is worth bringing into the upgrade queue once you reach the Appraisal levels needed to push Arcs past level 60.
