NTE Shinku Team Comps – Best Charged and F2P Builds (Version 1.2)

How to slot Shinku as a Cosmos burst DPS and feed her Ultimate with the right Charge and Anima support.

How to slot Shinku as a Cosmos burst DPS and feed her Ultimate with the right Charge and Anima support.

Shinku is an S-Class Cosmos character in Neverness to Everness who fights up close with martial-arts strikes and burst-heavy Ultimates. A team built around her exists to do one thing well, which is keep her Ultimate Gauge topped up so she can stay in her Rampage form and deal Cosmos damage as often as possible.

Quick answer: Run Shinku as the on-field Cosmos DPS with a Lakshana character (Hathor or Skia), Esper Zero as the Instant Cycle unit, and an Anima character (Iroi or Mint). The goal is to trigger Charged repeatedly so her Ultimate Gauge fills fast.

Why Shinku’s team is built around Charge

Shinku’s Support Skill grants the Charge Cycle Enhancement. Whenever the active character gains Charge, off-field allies gain the same amount. That shared generation is the backbone of her teams, because faster Charge means a faster Ultimate, and her Ultimate is where most of her damage lives.

Her damage flows through the Crimson Fury Ultimate, which sends her into the Surging Crimson state and converts her whole kit into Rampage form. From there she chains Crimson Judgement and the Dragonflame Verdict finisher. To make that loop repeatable, the rest of the team funnels Charged energy into her rather than competing for field time.

Best Charged team for Shinku

This is the premium setup centered on triggering Charged to rapidly fill Shinku’s Ultimate Gauge. Esper Zero handles the Instant Cycle slot, Hathor provides the Lakshana trigger, and Iroi covers Anima and healing so Shinku can hold the field through her burst windows.

The plan is simple in practice. Keep Charged reactions running, then dump the energy into Shinku so her Ultimate is available on cooldown. Treat the Ultimate as her primary damage source and weave Basic Attacks and her Redirect Skill to build Defiant Spirit between casts.

F2P team for Shinku

If you do not have premium support units, this free-to-play core still leans on the Charged reaction to build Shinku’s Ultimate Gauge and keep her damage steady. Skia fills the Lakshana slot and Mint covers Anima.

Swap options and flex picks

You can adjust the support slots depending on what you own. These swaps keep the Charge-into-Ultimate loop intact while changing how the team generates resources or applies extra damage.

Lakshana plus Anima Remora variant

Because Shinku is a Cosmos unit, she can act as the trigger that pairs with a Lakshana character to form Remora, then extend into Charge with an Anima follow-up. If you already have Hathor or Chaos, this route lets Shinku drive the rotation while the Lakshana slot handles follow-up damage and the Anima slot closes the reaction chain.

Note: Shinku and Iroi arrive in the same update, so an all-CSU-2 lineup of Shinku, Iroi, and Mint is a natural fit if you pull both. Iroi leans into healing and team buffs, which protects Shinku’s field time during her burst windows.

Build that supports the team plan

The team only works if Shinku’s burst lands hard, so her gear should sharpen that window. The recommended Console is Lost Radiance, which gives a 4-piece effect that lets her damage ignore 25% of a target’s DEF for 20 seconds after she uses her Ultimate. That penetration is most valuable against high-defense enemies and bosses.

When you can build the team

Shinku joins the playable roster in Version 1.2 Phase 1, expected on July 10, 2026, in a limited-time gacha. To be ready for her banner, save Solid Dice and Annulith ahead of the update. The team comps above are based on beta data and will settle once the final global kit and multipliers are live, so treat them as the strongest starting framework rather than locked numbers.
