Weights, called barbells in-game, are the only items that raise your Power in Open Sea For Animals. You equip one, lift at the training circle, and each rep adds strength points that build up your total Power. More Power lets your staff split the sea farther, opening a longer path toward Epic, Legendary, and rarer eggs buried deep along the seabed.

The Gear Dumbbell costs fewer Robux (29) than the cheaper Wooden Dumbbell (39) despite being a higher tier, so it is a strong early Robux pick if you want a jump in Power.
How to buy and equip a Weight
You know the purchase worked when the new barbell appears equipped on your character and your Power per rep matches the value listed for that Weight. Only one Weight can be equipped at a time, so buying a higher tier simply swaps out the old one.
Because high-rarity eggs sit deepest along the seabed and hatch pets with the best earning rates, working up the barbell ladder is the core way to reach them. Pair each Power boost with a stronger staff so you have both the reach and the open time to grab those eggs before the waves close back in.
