Palworld 1.0 rebuilt its raid system from the ground up, and the encounters now reward squads that can pump out sustained, high-power damage while keeping the player alive. A Fire-element army built around Dupin does both. Dupin is a Rare Fire Pal with a deep skill list that scales into heavy area attacks, plus a partner ability that turns your own low-health moments into extra damage.
Quick answer: Field Dupin as your raid anchor, level it toward Flame Funnel, Volcanic Rain, and its exclusive Trickster Show, and keep one Dupin in your active party so its Trick-Loving Fluffle skill triggers an explosion and a 30–50% Attack boost whenever your health drops below 50%.

Dupin combat stats and raid role
Dupin is Paldeck No.176, the “Illusionist Cottontail.” It is a pure Fire Pal with a Shot Attack that edges out its Melee Attack, so it performs best firing ranged skills at a raid boss rather than trading blows up close. Its movement speed is high, which helps it reposition during the more dynamic raid encounters in 1.0.
| Stat | Value |
|---|---|
| Rarity | Rare (Fire) |
| HP | 100 |
| Melee Attack | 100 |
| Shot Attack | 110 |
| Defense | 100 |
| Support | 100 |
| Running / Sprinting Speed | 500 / 750 |
| Price | 3,191 |
Away from combat, Dupin also earns its keep with Kindling at Lv 7, Handiwork at Lv 5, Medicine Production at Lv 4, and Transporting at Lv 2, so a raid team member doubles as a strong base worker between fights.

Dupin’s early skills are single-target pokes, but the mid-to-late unlocks are what make it a raid threat. Flame Wall, Flame Funnel, and Volcanic Rain all cover wide areas, which matters against bosses that summon adds or move through a set space. Trickster Show, its exclusive skill at Lv 70, both distracts enemies with illusions and lands top-tier power.
| Skill (Lv) | Power | Cooldown | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|
| Spirit Fire (1) | 80 | 4s | Fireballs that split into spreading smaller shots |
| Ignis Breath (7) | 160 | 8s | Continuous flame stream |
| Flame Wall (15) | 250 | 12s | Lingering wall that damages enemies it touches |
| Flame Funnel (22) | 300 | 16s | Multiple orbs fire countless homing fireballs |
| Volcanic Rain (30) | 450 | 20s | Bombs fall around the target area |
| Ignis Rage (40) | 500 | 24s | Charges the ground to explode on a timer |
| Fire Ball (50) | 600 | 30s | Giant flame ball with a wide impact blast |
| Trickster Show (70) | 700 | 30s | Exclusive: two illusions distract, then fire birds launch |
For an active raid loadout, pair a low-cooldown filler like Ignis Breath or Flame Funnel with a heavy hitter such as Volcanic Rain or Fire Ball. That keeps damage flowing while the big skills recharge.

Trick-Loving Fluffle partner skill
The reason a Dupin belongs in your party slot during raids is its partner skill, Trick-Loving Fluffle. When your own Health falls below 50%, Dupin sets off a Fire explosion around you with Power 100–200 and heavy Burn buildup (777). At the same time, while you stay under 50% Health, your Attack rises by 30–50%.
In practice, that turns a dangerous health window into a damage spike, both from the automatic explosion and the flat Attack boost to your weapons. The buff does not stack, so there is no benefit to carrying multiple Dupin for that effect alone.
Farming Dupin for Ancient Relics
Dupin is also worth defeating or capturing repeatedly because of its drop table. Beyond guaranteed Leather and Flame Organ, it can drop several tiers of Ancient Relics, which feed into higher-end crafting and progression.
| Drop | Amount | Rate |
|---|---|---|
| Leather | 2–3 | 100% |
| Flame Organ | 2 | 100% |
| World Tree Holy Water | 1–3 | 50% |
| Fire Radiant Gem | 1–3 | 50% |
| Decayed Ancient Relic | 1–10 | 10% |
| Dormant Ancient Relic | 1–5 | 5% |
| Gorgeous Ancient Relic | 1–3 | 3.33% |
| Glowing Ancient Relic | 1–2 | 2.5% |
| Glistening Ancient Relic | 1 | 2% |
The Fire Radiant Gem at 50% is a useful bonus for enhancing other Fire Pals, so a raid army that leans on Fire damage can partly sustain itself off Dupin farming.

Why raids changed in Palworld 1.0
Palworld left Early Access with version 1.0 on July 10, 2026, and the raid system received a significant overhaul as part of that release. Tower bosses were reworked to be more “dynamic and engaging,” and Wildlife Sanctuaries were rebuilt with unique ecosystems, drones, rare Pals, and powerful bosses. Those tougher, more mobile encounters put a premium on Pals that can hit hard from range and cover ground, which is exactly where Dupin’s skill list and speed fit.
Note: Because 1.0 does not force a save wipe but recommends a fresh start for the full experience, it is worth building your Fire lineup on a clean file if you want it tuned for the reworked raids from the beginning.

Fielding the raid army

Put together, Dupin gives a Fire raid army three things at once: reliable area burst from its upper-tier skills, a built-in emergency payoff through its partner explosion, and a farmable source of relics and Fire Radiant Gems to keep the rest of the lineup upgraded for the tougher 1.0 encounters.
