Palworld: All Skill Fruit Tree Locations (1.0)

Every mapped Skill Fruit Tree across Palpagos and the DLC islands, plus how to harvest and feed the fruit.

Every mapped Skill Fruit Tree across Palpagos and the DLC islands, plus how to harvest and feed the fruit.

Skill Fruit Trees are the fastest way to hand a Pal an active skill it would never learn on its own. They look like bare, leafless trees, and each one grows two or three glowing fruits that you pluck by hand. Once you know where they stand, you can plan a short circuit of the map and stock up on skills before your next tough fight.

Quick answer: Walk up to a leafless Skill Fruit Tree, aim at a hanging fruit, and press E (or the interact button) to collect it. Then open your inventory, use the fruit, and pick a Pal with a free active skill slot to teach it the attached move. The base island has 18 trees spread across four biomes, with more clustered on the Feybreak and Sakurajima DLC islands.

Skill Fruit Tree locations on the main island

Most trees are tied to a nearby fast travel point or landmark, which makes them easy to reach. The bulk of them sit in the forest biome across the starting regions, with a handful in the harsher desert, snow, and volcano zones. The nearest tree to your starting area is across the river northeast of the Grassy Behemoth Hills fast travel.

Skill Fruit Tree locations on the DLC islands

The Feybreak and Sakurajima islands add the densest clusters of trees in the game. Because these regions lack the neat landmark naming of the main island, the easiest way to pin them down is by map coordinates. Open your map, read the X and Y readout as you move, and head to the spots below.

RegionCoordinates (X, Y)
Feybreak-1423, -1673
Feybreak-872, -1472
Feybreak-1251, -1399
Feybreak-968, -1169
Feybreak-1408, -1027
Feybreak-972, -921
Sakurajima-573, 161
Sakurajima-682, 184
Sakurajima-462, 227
Sakurajima-599, 310
Sakurajima-150, 582

Note: Higher-tier fruits that teach the strongest moves tend to appear on trees in these later regions, so a round trip through Feybreak and Sakurajima is worth the travel once you can survive there.

How to harvest and feed Skill Fruits

Approach a leafless tree and look for the two or three fruits hanging on it. Each fruit is a random element and skill, so what you get changes every time a tree bears fruit.
Aim at a fruit and press E to pull it off the branch. The Skill Fruit goes straight into your inventory and stays there until you use it, so there is no rush to feed it right away.
Open your inventory, select the fruit, and choose Use (right-click on PC). A menu appears asking which Pal should eat it. Pick a Pal that has an empty active skill slot.
Confirm, and the Pal immediately learns the skill tied to that fruit. You know it worked when the new active skill shows up in that Pal’s skill list. Any Pal can learn any Skill Fruit skill regardless of its own element, so a Fire skill can go onto a Water Pal if you want it there.

The most common failure is trying to feed a fruit to a Pal whose active skill slots are all full. Free up a slot first, then feed the fruit again.

Tree respawns and farming

Skill Fruit Trees are permanent world objects, and they regrow their fruit over time rather than disappearing after you pick them clean. That means the same tree can be harvested again and again across separate play sessions, so there is no need to camp one waiting for it to refill.

The respawn timing follows your World Settings. If you want fruit to come back faster, lower the Respawn Interval in those settings before you start a farming loop. All fruit drops stay randomized, so you cannot force a specific element or skill from a given tree.

Which skills Skill Fruits can teach

Every Skill Fruit carries one active skill from a set element, and the power of that skill ranges from weak early moves to heavy finishers. The table below shows how many distinct skills each element covers and the power range you can pull from a fruit.

ElementNumber of skillsPower rangeTop skill
Neutral525–180Implode
Thunder930–150Lightning Bolt
Fire730–150Fire Ball
Grass630–150Solar Blast
Water630–150Hydro Laser
Ground540–150Rock Lance
Ice530–130Blizzard Spike
Dark530–150Dark Laser
Dragon430–150Dragon Meteor

Because trees drop fruit at random, the practical approach is to fold fruit picking into your regular travel. When you set out to capture Pals in a region, plot a route that passes several of the trees listed above, and you will steadily build a stock of skills to slot onto your team.
