Field a Xenolord army for the Dark phase, swap to Moldrons for the Ice phase, and mount Chillet then Pyrin to clear the Level 80 fight fast.

Bellanoir Libero (Ultra) is a Level 80 raid boss with a million-HP bar and a hard element flip halfway through. The fastest clears do not rely on one universal team. They run two separate base armies and two separate mounts, then swap everything the moment the boss changes type. Done right, the whole fight ends in roughly two minutes.

Quick answer: Deploy 15 Xenolords at your raid base and mount Chillet for Phase 1 (Dark). When the boss drops to about 300,000 HP, open the Palbox, pull all Xenolords, deploy 15 Moldrons, and mount Pyrin for Phase 2 (Ice). Fire the Plasma Rifle at the head and let the Drone Launcher add passive damage the whole time.

What you are fighting

The fight has two phases with a forced type change. Phase 1 is Dark, so Dragon damage is super-effective. When the boss hits low health it shifts to Ice, which turns your Dragon Pals into liabilities and rewards Fire damage instead. The freeze burst on the transition is the moment most runs fall apart, so the swap timing matters more than raw stats.

Gear and consumable checklist

Your player weapons carry most of the damage here, so bring the strongest firearms you have. The Cold-Resistant Ancient Armor is the key defensive pick because it cuts the Ice damage that spikes in Phase 2 while adding a small attack bonus.

Eat Mammorest Curry before you summon. It boosts both your attack and your Pals’ attack for the run, which is free damage against a boss you are racing on a timer.

Phase 1 army: Xenolord and Chillet

Xenolord is the base army for the Dark phase because its Dark/Dragon typing double-resists Bellanoir’s Flame Wall. That resistance lets it survive while running purely offensive passives, so it does not die before it puts out damage. Fill your raid base with 15 of them.

You ride Chillet, not to attack with it directly, but to convert your gun damage to Dragon element. Its Diamond Body passive lets it eat skills like Dark Laser without getting locked in a stagger animation. Chillet’s Diamond Rain, Lightning Streak, and Icicle Cutter also freeze and stun the boss, which interrupts the Flame Wall casts that would otherwise wipe your army.

Phase 2 army: Moldron and Pyrin

Moldron is the offensive core for the Ice phase. Its Ground/Fire typing deals super-effective damage, and with an attack stat of 3316 it hits far harder than the Xenolords did. Its Magma Laser is a ranged skill, so the army can keep pressuring the boss from a safe distance instead of standing in its close-range attacks.

Pyrin becomes your mount for this half. Mounting it swaps your weapon damage from Dragon to Fire, so your rifle keeps hitting the boss’s new Ice weakness. Deploy 15 Moldrons and keep your distance to protect them from Blizzard Spikes and the other close-range Ice moves.

Party support Pals

The five Pals in your active party do not fight as an army. They exist to multiply your own damage. The biggest single boost comes from Lyleen (named “World Tree”), which raises player attack by 80% as long as every Pal in your party is a different species, so keep them all unique.

How to run the fight

Place Bellanoir Libero (Ultra)’s Slab at the Summoning Altar with 15 Xenolords already active at the base. Eat the Mammorest Curry before the boss spawns so the attack buff is live from the first shot.
Mount Chillet the instant the boss appears and use Diamond Rain and Lightning Streak to stun and freeze it. This locks the boss out of Flame Wall while your army opens up.

Aim the Plasma Rifle at the boss’s head to trigger the headshot damage boosts, and deploy the Drone Launcher so it keeps adding passive damage while you reposition.
Watch the health bar. When it falls to roughly 300,000 HP the boss is about to shift to Ice, so open the Palbox right before the transition. Swapping late means your Moldrons all spawn on top of the Palbox instead of spreading out.
Recall every Xenolord, deploy 15 Moldrons, and mount Pyrin to convert your fire to the Fire element. Move to the far side of the arena so the boss targets you and leaves the Moldrons alone.
Keep firing the Fire-infused rifle at the head from range. Hold that distance to keep the army clear of Blizzard Spikes and finish the last of the health bar.

Confirming the kill and the drops

When the boss dies, the raid ends and the reward drops appear on the ground for you to collect. A clean two-phase run with this setup wraps up in about two minutes of active fighting, well inside the 10-minute timer.

Expect Ancient Civilization Cores for high-tier crafting and the Witch’s Crown, the headgear exclusive to the Ultra version. The run also feeds the usual raid loot loop of the boss egg and stat items, so repeat clears are worth farming.

Two failure points account for most missed runs. Swapping the army too late leaves the Moldrons bunched near the Palbox where a single Ice move wipes them, and standing too close in either phase lets the boss shred your base Pals instead of chasing you. Handle the swap early and keep your distance, and the fight stays a short race rather than a war of attrition.
