Palworld: How to Build Sweepa for Hard Mode Tower Bosses

Stacking four Swees behind King of Fluff turns a C-tier Ice Pal into a Hard Mode boss killer with swappable elemental damage.

Stacking four Swees behind King of Fluff turns a C-tier Ice Pal into a Hard Mode boss killer with swappable elemental damage.

Sweepa is a middling Ice Pal on paper, sitting at #163 in total stats, but its King of Fluff partner skill scales so hard with Swees in the party that it can clear multiple Hard Mode Tower Bosses. The trick is filling four party slots with Swees, layering the right passives, and switching elemental accessories to match each boss’s weakness.

Quick answer: Run a Level 80 Sweepa with four Swees and one Orserk B. King of Fluff gives Sweepa +24% Attack and Defense per Swee at partner skill Lv. 5, so four Swees add +96% to both stats. Equip Serenity, Immortality, plus stat passives, then swap the player’s rings, talismans, and batons to the element that counters each boss.

Why King of Fluff makes Sweepa work

King of Fluff is Sweepa’s partner skill. It lets Sweepa be ridden and raises its Attack and Defense by a percentage for every Swee sitting in your party. The bonus grows with the partner skill level, and at max it is a large jump.

Partner skill levelAttack/Defense per SweeWith four Swees
Lv. 1+12%+48%
Lv. 2+13%+52%
Lv. 3+15%+60%
Lv. 4+19%+76%
Lv. 5+24%+96%

Because the boost hits both stats at once, Sweepa gains survivability alongside raw damage. That matters against Hard Mode bosses, which carry built-in damage reduction and inflated HP. In practice, a Level 80 Sweepa with base combat stats around 6,031 Attack and 4,263 Defense can climb past 11,000 Attack and 7,900 Defense mid-fight once the full party bonus and other buffs are active.

Note: The four Swees never leave their spheres to fight. They exist purely to feed the King of Fluff multiplier, so they only need to be in the party, not leveled for combat.

Core party and passive skills

The team is one Level 80 Sweepa, four Swees, and one Orserk B. Orserk B carries the Ferocious Thunder Dragon partner skill, which raises the Attack and Defense of the Pal fighting beside it by 5% for 5 seconds each time you hit an enemy with a bullet. It stacks up to 30 times for a maximum of 150%, so shooting the boss while Sweepa attacks keeps a constant second buff running.

For Sweepa’s passives, the priority is sustain plus flat damage. Serenity lowers active skill cooldowns, and Immortality provides life steal and health regeneration, which is what lets Sweepa outlast long boss patterns without dying. God of Destruction and Diamond Body add offensive and defensive stat scaling on top.

  • Serenity for faster skill rotations.
  • Immortality for life steal and passive healing during long fights.
  • God of Destruction and Diamond Body for extra Attack and Defense scaling.

Elemental accessory sets by boss

Sweepa itself is Ice, but you change its active skills and the player’s accessories to hit each boss’s weakness. The player equips a matching ring, talisman, and baton to boost the chosen element, then Sweepa uses active skills of that type. Ice covers Ice-weak targets, an Electric and Water combo enables the electrified plus soaked status pairing, and Dragon handles the Dark bosses.

ElementPlayer accessoriesUsed against
IceCryolinx Ring, Frostallion’s Talisman, Ice Emperor’s Baton, Dogu EmblemAxel & Orserk (Hard)

DragonElphidran Ring, Jetragon’s Talisman, Jetragon’s BatonVictor & Shadowbeak, Saya & Selyne (Hard)

Active skills follow the same logic. Ice runs come from Blizzard Spike and Double Blizzard Spike backed by Diamond Rain. Electric and Water setups pair skills like Thunder Rail and Geyser Gush to soak and electrify. Dragon runs lean on high-power moves such as Comet Barrage and Meteorain, where Immortality’s life steal keeps Sweepa healthy through the exchange.

How to run the fight

Build the party with your Level 80 Sweepa, four Swees, and one Orserk B before entering the tower. Confirm King of Fluff is at partner skill Lv. 5 so the four Swees deliver the full +96% bonus.

Set Sweepa’s passives to Serenity, Immortality, and the stat passives, then choose active skills that match the boss’s weakness or set up the electrified-and-soaked combo.
Equip the player with the matching ring, talisman, and baton for that element. Eat Mammorest Curry for the Pal buff and Galeclaw Nikujaga for the player buff before the fight starts.
Shoot the boss to build Orserk B’s Ferocious Thunder Dragon stacks. Each bullet hit adds another 5% buff, up to 150%, layering on top of the King of Fluff bonus.
Mount Sweepa to fire off its high-damage active skills manually and to dodge dangerous boss attacks. Immortality’s life steal recovers health as you deal damage, so keep pressing the attack.

Hard Mode bosses this build clears

With the correct element loaded for each encounter, Sweepa takes down a spread of Hard Mode Tower Bosses. Swap accessories and active skills between fights to stay matched to the weakness.

You know the setup is working when Sweepa’s in-battle Attack and Defense climb well above its base numbers, which confirms both King of Fluff and Orserk B’s stacks are live. If the damage feels low, the usual causes are a partner skill below Lv. 5, fewer than four Swees in the party, or accessories that do not match the active skill element you equipped. Keep the Orserk B stacks topped up by firing on the boss and let Immortality handle the healing between hits.
