Aegidron is a Dragon and Ground-type Pal introduced in the 1.0 release of Palworld on July 10th, 2026. It sits at No. 184 in the Paldeck, carries an Epic rarity rank, and brings party-wide damage reduction along with a rideable ground mount. There are two reliable ways to add it to your collection: hunt it down as a fixed Alpha boss, or hatch it at a breeding farm.
Quick answer: Unlock the World Tree region, travel north of the Lacrymal Shoal fast travel point to fight the Level 79 Aegidron Alpha boss, then weaken it and throw a Pal Sphere. You can also breed it from pairs such as Aegidron × Bastigor or Neptilius × Jetragon.

Aegidron location in Palworld
Aegidron does not roam the wild. It only appears as a Level 79 Field Alpha boss, so you cannot stumble on one during regular exploration. The encounter is locked behind the World Tree region, which you must reach before the fight becomes accessible.
Once the World Tree is unlocked, head to the southwest portion of that area. The boss marker sits directly north of the Lacrymal Shoal fast travel point, giving you a short approach after teleporting in.

Add to Google Preferences →How to beat and catch Aegidron
As a dual Dragon and Ground Pal, Aegidron has two clear openings. Ice-type attacks punish its Dragon side, while Leaf-type attacks hit its Ground side hard. Strong picks for the fight include Bastigor or Frostallion. Leave Dark and Electric Pals at home, since both of Aegidron’s typings resist them.
Bring gear and mounts that can survive its explosive attacks, whittle its health down, and then throw a Pal Sphere once it is weakened. The catch registers the moment the sphere confirms, adding Aegidron to your party and Paldeck entry No. 184.
Aegidron breeding combos
Breeding is the alternative route if you would rather skip the boss fight or want extra copies with better traits. You will need a breeding farm, which becomes available once you reach Technology Level 19, plus a steady supply of Cake to keep the pair producing eggs.
Any of the following parent pairs can produce an Aegidron egg.
| Parent 1 | Parent 2 |
|---|---|
| Aegidron | Bastigor |
| Aegidron | Aegidron |
| Aegidron | Lyleen Noct |
| Neptilius | Bastigor |
| Blazamut Ryu | Bastigor |
| Neptilius | Jetragon |
| Panthalus | Jetragon |
Partner skill and passive
Aegidron’s partner skill, Indestructible Fortress, is where most of its value lives. It can be ridden as a ground mount, and while it is in your party, you and your active Pals take 60% less damage from explosive attacks and become fully immune to Stun. The effect does not stack, so multiple Aegidron in the party give no extra bonus.
Despite being part Dragon, Aegidron cannot fly, so riding it keeps you on the ground. On the defensive side, its Heavyweight passive grants a flat 20% Defense boost and immunity to knockback, reinforcing its role as a durable frontline body. Its work suitability is Mining Lv. 8, making it useful at a base as well.
Aegidron active skills
Aegidron learns eight active skills as it levels, mixing Ground barrages with Dragon explosions. Missile Burst is its exclusive skill, unlocked at Level 70.
| Skill | Element | Unlock level |
|---|---|---|
| Stone Blast | Ground | 1 |
| Blast Cannon | Dragon | 7 |
| Rockburst | Ground | 15 |
| Charge Cannon | Dragon | 22 |
| Sand Twister | Ground | 30 |
| Rocky Impact | Ground | 40 |
| Dragon Meteor | Dragon | 50 |
| Missile Burst | Ground | 70 |

| Giant Pal Soul | 1 | 100% |

Breeding other Pals with Aegidron
Once you own an Aegidron, it doubles as a parent for several other 1.0 Pals. The pairs below show what it produces when matched with specific partners.
| Parent 1 | Parent 2 | Child |
|---|---|---|
| Aegidron | Azurmane | Ophydia |
| Dupin | Aegidron | Solenne |
| Aegidron | Grizzbolt | Roujay |
| Aegidron | Xenolord | Ophydia |
| Hoodle | Aegidron | Loomen |
| Aegidron | Faleris | Knocklem |
| Wispaw | Aegidron | Omascul |
Whether you catch it at the World Tree or hatch it at your base, Aegidron earns its spot through defense rather than raw speed. The explosive damage reduction and Stun immunity make it a safe pick against bosses that rely on knockback and area blasts, and its high Defense passive lets it hold the front while your other Pals deal the damage.
