Sekhmet is a Ground-type Pal introduced with the Palworld 1.0 update, and she was built to sit right next to Anubis at your base. She handles crafting, mining, and hauling, and her partner skill turns an already strong Anubis setup into something noticeably faster. If you run Anubis as a main worker, Sekhmet slots in without pushing anything out.
Quick answer: Catch Sekhmet in the desert region in the northeast of the base map, day or night, where she spawns around level 35 to 40. She does not appear in the World Tree, so if you skip the wild catch, breed her using one of the parent pairs below.
Where to find Sekhmet on the map
Sekhmet roams the desert in the northeast portion of the base map. She is not tied to a specific time window, so you will find her wandering both during the day and at night. That makes her far easier to track down than several of the other new 1.0 Pals that only live inside the World Tree.
Expect encounters in the level 35 to 40 range, so bring a team that can handle that. Since Sekhmet is a Ground type, she takes double damage from Grass element Pals. Leading with a Grass attacker keeps the fight controlled and lowers the chance of accidentally knocking her out before you land the capture. Avoid Electric Pals here, because Ground resists Electric damage and your hits will do less than expected.
Note: You know the catch worked when Sekhmet is added to your Paldeck as No. 140 and appears in your party or box.

Desert Empress partner skill and work suitability
Sekhmet’s partner skill, Desert Empress, exists to make Anubis better. While Sekhmet is assigned to your base, Anubis gains a 20% work speed boost. If Sekhmet is also actively working at a Workbench, Workshop, or a related facility, that jumps to a 30% efficiency increase. It does not stack, but for a base already leaning on Anubis for crafting and handiwork, this is a straight upgrade.
On her own, Sekhmet pulls solid weight across three base jobs. Her work levels can be pushed higher with Work Suitability books if you want to raise her ceiling.

Sekhmet’s kit blends ranged pokes with heavy melee hits, so she stays useful whether you keep her at distance or send her in close. Her two exclusive moves are the highlights. Somersault Scratch deals 300 power and backflips her away to create space, while Rolling Scratch spins forward to close the gap for a 400 power strike. Sand Twister is her biggest single move at 500 power, spawning multiple sand tornadoes that keep spinning and dealing damage.
