Palworld: Where to Find Electric Pals

The confirmed spawn areas, Alpha targets, and Electric Egg method for building an electric-type team.

The confirmed spawn areas, Alpha targets, and Electric Egg method for building an electric-type team.

Electric Pals power your generators, run your production lines, and hit hard against water-type enemies. They cluster in a few predictable places rather than spreading evenly across the map, so knowing where to look saves a lot of wandering. The fastest early option is right outside the starting zone, while the strongest variants sit in newer areas.

Quick answer: Catch a Jolthog roaming Windswept Hills for an early electric Pal, then head to Tides of Terraria for the stronger Lux variants such as Pengullet Lux, Penking Lux, and Fenglope Lux. Hatch Electric Eggs or fight electric Alpha Pals to fill out the rest.

Electric Pal spawn locations

Two areas do most of the work. Windswept Hills is the opening region, and it is where you meet your first free-roaming electric Pal. Tides of Terraria holds the “Lux” electric variants, which are recolored, electric-typed versions of Pals you already know.

Jolthog is the easiest one to secure. It wanders the open ground in Windswept Hills, so you can catch several early and use them for base power without needing any special gear.

Electric Alpha Pals worth hunting

Several electric Pals appear as Alpha Pals, the larger, tougher boss versions marked on the world map. These are stationary fights, so once you know the pin, you can return to farm them. The electric Alphas include Univolt, Grizzbolt, Beakon, Slowatt, Dynamoff, Mossanda Lux, Prixter Lux, Fenglope Lux, and Dinossom Lux.

Bring ground or water counters and enough Pal Spheres, since an Alpha’s capture rate stays low until its health is nearly gone. Beating one still gives its regular capturable form elsewhere, but the Alpha version comes with higher stats.

Tip: Grizzbolt is one of the standout electric Alphas thanks to its size and combat presence, making it a strong target once your team can survive the fight.

Hatch Electric Eggs for guaranteed electric Pals

If you would rather not chase spawns, Electric Eggs are the reliable route. They are scattered across the world in dozens of fixed spots and always produce an electric-type Pal once incubated.

Collect Electric Eggs from their world pins. There are 76 Electric Egg locations to pull from, so a single sweep can net several at once.
Place each egg in an Egg Incubator at your base. Adjust the incubator’s temperature toward the warm side, since electric eggs favor heat while hatching.
Wait for the timer to finish, then collect the hatched electric Pal. The egg disappears, and the new Pal drops into your party, confirming the hatch worked.

How to confirm you caught an electric Pal

Open the captured Pal’s info screen and check its element icon. Electric Pals show the yellow lightning symbol, and Lux variants carry that same electric typing even though their base form may be a different element. Once the icon is confirmed, assign the Pal to a Power Generator at your base to put its electric work suitability to use.
