Woolipop is the No. 39 Neutral-element Pal in Palworld, a small sheep-like creature covered in bright-pink wool. It is a farming Pal whose main draw is producing Cotton Candy at a Ranch, and it is easy to obtain early because it appears in the wild, inside a dungeon, and through eggs.
Quick answer: Head to the southeastern edge of the Bamboo Groves and Woolipop spawns there both day and night. It usually appears alone or in a pair, is passive, and will run from you until attacked.
Woolipop wild spawn location
Woolipop lives in the southeastern reaches of the Bamboo Groves. The same area works during the day and at night, since Woolipop is not nocturnal and stays active around the clock. Expect to see it on its own or in a small pair.
The Pal is passive and will flee the moment it notices you, but it fights back once you land a hit. Approach quietly, weaken it, and throw a Pal Sphere to capture it. There is no overworld Alpha version of Woolipop roaming the map.

Partner Skill and base use
Woolipop’s value is at your base, not in combat. Its Partner Skill, Candy Pop, sometimes drops Cotton Candy when it is assigned to a Ranch, and while stationed at a base it reduces the Hunger depletion rate of your Base Pals by 10%. This effect does not stack.
Cotton Candy is not a strong food on its own, but it feeds into several healing recipes along with Nutrient Tonics and Revival Potions, which makes Woolipop a useful farming addition. Raising its Condensation rank increases how much Cotton Candy it produces per drop.

Woolipop versus Woolipop Terra
Note: Woolipop has a Ground-element variant called Woolipop Terra, listed as #039B and introduced in the 1.0 release. The two look identical, but they differ in typing and where they come from. If you are hunting the standard pink Woolipop, stick to the Bamboo Groves and Common Eggs. Woolipop Terra hatches from a Rocky Egg instead and does not spawn in the wild the same way.
You know you have the right one when the Paldeck shows No. 39 with the Neutral icon and the Candy Pop Partner Skill. Woolipop Terra instead shows the Ground icon, the Bitter Pop skill, and produces Caramel Cotton Candy rather than Cotton Candy.
