Paradox on Roblox returned with its long-awaited rerelease in April 2026, and the sheer number of build decisions facing Soul Reapers, Quincy, and Arrancar players is staggering. Between Shikai, Schrifts, Resurrections, Clans, Talents, and Skill Trees, every choice shapes how your character performs in both PvP and PvE. Rarity labels are frequently misleading in this game — some Common and Rare options outperform Legendaries — so knowing the actual meta hierarchy matters far more than chasing the shiniest drop.
Quick answer: The strongest options right now are Gravity (Shikai), Fear (Schrift), Gunners (Resurrection), Nkk Le Vaar (Clan), Master of Speed (Talent), and Hakuda (Skill Tree). If you land any of these, lock them in immediately.

Shikai Tier List — Soul Reaper Powers Ranked
Shikai defines your entire Soul Reaper moveset and eventually upgrades into Bankai. The critical thing to understand is that rarity does not equal strength here. Lightning is only Rare, yet it sits comfortably in S tier thanks to exceptional PvP mobility and near-universal Guardbreaks. Meanwhile, Shadow and Fire are both Common and also the weakest Shikai in the pool — reroll them as soon as you have Ability Rerolls to spend.
| Tier | Shikai | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| S | Gravity, Flower, Lightning | Gravity and Flower are the top Legendaries. Lightning (Rare) punches far above its weight in PvP. |
| A | Blood, Rampage | Strong combo potential and solid damage across both modes. |
| B | Wind | Good beginner placeholder with decent range and mid-game viability. |
| C | Shadow, Fire | Weakest options despite being Common. Reroll immediately. |
If you're just starting out, Wind works fine as a temporary hold. It offers a decent range and combo potential that stays functional through mid-game. Once you've accumulated rerolls, push for Gravity or Flower.

Schrift Tier List — Quincy Powers Ranked
The Schrift pool is smaller than Shikai, but the quality gap between the top and bottom is wider. Fear is the clear best-in-slot for Quincy players, offering dominant PvP performance. Deathdealing is the strongest all-rounder, excelling in both PvP and PvE with reliable AoE and ranged moves that make kiting and farming straightforward.
| Tier | Schrift | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| S | Fear | Best Schrift in the game. Target this if you're playing Quincy. |
| A | Deathdealing, Heat | Deathdealing is the best PvP/PvE hybrid. Heat rounds out the top three. |
| A- | Explode | Only Rare Schrift. Two-part detonation mechanic with great mobility rewards skilled play. |
Explode deserves special mention. It's the only Rare Schrift, yet its two-part detonation mechanic and excellent mobility make it a legitimately strong option that rewards mechanical skill.

Resurrection Tier List — Hollow and Arrancar Powers Ranked
Resurrection has the most surprising rarity inversions of all three power systems. Nearly every Resurrection moveset is at least decent, with strong base moves or good combo potential. The best ones combine both and synergize well with stat-based skill trees like Hakuda.
| Tier | Resurrection | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| S | Gunners, Panther, Bat | Gunners converts M1s into ranged shots. Panther has some of the best M1s in the game and pairs well with Hakuda. Bat is well-rounded. |
| A | Heaven | Common rarity (89% drop chance) but performs at A tier with strong guardbreaks, bonus damage passive, and debuff immunity. |
| C | Divinity | Legendary trap. Underperforms every other option. Reroll immediately. |
How to Reroll Your Power in Paradox
Step 1: Open the menu with M, navigate to Summon, and select the tab for your race's power type (Shikai, Resurrection, or Schrift).
Step 2: Use Ability Rerolls to summon a new power. There is a 0/450 pity system for Legendary drops, and the odds for each rarity are displayed on the right side of the summon screen.
Step 3: The new power appears in your inventory as an item rather than replacing your current one immediately. Item names differ from power names but are intuitive (Stormheart = Lightning, Inferno Ember = Fire, etc.).
Step 4: Use the item from your inventory to activate the new power. Your old power is wiped, but all progress — unlocked Bankai, Full Resurrection, or Vollstandig — carries over to the new one.
You can earn Ability Rerolls by completing game modes, redeeming active codes, or transferring them between character slots. They're also available for Robux in the in-game store, though the value isn't great.

Clans Tier List — Best Passive Stat Buffs by Race
Clans provide passive stat bonuses across three categories: Posture, Reiatsu, and Health. The priority order when evaluating clans is Posture first, then Reiatsu, then Health. Posture directly affects guard and survivability in combat, Reiatsu powers your skills and ability damage, and Health simply adds raw HP. This hierarchy explains why some Legendary clans with Health-heavy distributions fall below expectations.
| Race | Best Clans | Key Detail |
|---|---|---|
| Quincy | Nkk Le Vaar (S tier) | Best clan in the entire game. +30 Reiatsu alongside Posture. |
| Soul Reaper | Aizen, Kurosaki, Yamamoto | Kurosaki gives +20 Reiatsu, +5 Posture. All three are Legendary targets. |
| Quincy (budget) | Nodt (A tier, Rare) | +15 Posture. Outperforms several Legendary clans. |
Nodt is a particularly strong value pick for Quincy players who haven't landed a Legendary yet. At Rare rarity, its +15 Posture bonus beats out multiple Legendary options that lean too heavily into Health.

Talents Tier List — Best Talents to Equip
Talents come from a separate progression loop. You farm Whispering Willows, take them to the Inori NPC, and convert them into Talent Rolls. You can equip up to three Talents at a time, but only the main slot enhances the Talent's effect. The S-tier Legendaries are all strong enough to anchor that main slot.
| Tier | Talent | Rarity | Effect |
|---|---|---|---|
| S | Master of Speed | Legendary | Extra flashstep + massive flashstep regen boost. Universally strong. |
| S | Ultra Ego | Legendary | Stacking damage (up to 10%) when landing hits without being tagged. |
| S | Unrelenting Impact | Legendary | M1s negate target's damage reduction for 5 seconds. Devastating vs. tanks. |
| S | The Dancer | Legendary | Weapon crit refreshes one flashstep charge (15s cooldown). Creates tempo. |
| S | Blood Surge | Legendary | Parries heal 0.2% max HP with no cooldown. Rewards skilled defense. |
| A | Compressive Force | Common | +15% Posture damage. Punches way above its rarity. |
| A | Shattering Blow | Rare | Guardbreaks deal full damage instead of reduced. |
| A | One With Speed | Rare | Flashstep cooldown no longer worsened by low health. |
| A | Angry Step | Rare | Perfect dodge boosts next attack damage by 10%. |
| A | Steady Ground | Legendary | Three M1s trigger double reiatsu regen for 10s (30s cooldown). |
| B | Sharp Shooter | Legendary | More damage at greater distance. Build-dependent. |
| B | Critical Hit | Rare | 5% chance for double damage. Fun but inconsistent. |
| B | First Blood | Rare | 1.5x damage on first hit vs. full-HP target. One-and-done. |
| C | Ecdysis | Legendary | Converts damage reduction into damage increase. Gimmicky. |
| C | Exoskeleton | Legendary | Always die in 25 hits. Extremely dangerous downside. |
| C | Reverse Induction | Rare | +10% NPC damage but -10% player damage. PvE-only pick. |
Rarity is even less reliable as a quality indicator for Talents than it is for Powers. Compressive Force is Common but earns A tier because a flat 15% Posture damage boost stays relevant for the entire game. Conversely, Ecdysis and Exoskeleton are both Legendary and both sit in C tier because their downsides are too punishing for consistent use.

Skill Tree Tier List — Hakuda, Speed, Sword, Kido, and More
Skill Trees work differently from Talents and Powers. You invest Skill Points earned through Potential into a stat tree (Hakuda, Speed, Sword, or Kido), then unlock specific moves using a separate skill item. Investing points alone does not grant skills — you need the corresponding item to actually unlock each move.
| Tier | Skill Tree | Why |
|---|---|---|
| S | Hakuda | Powerful active moves + passive M1 damage scaling. Best long-term melee investment for any race. |
| S | Speed | Excellent mobility, unblockable pressure, strong Flashstep synergy. Ideal for aggressive playstyles. |
| A | Arrancar Kido | Comes online fast with block-bypassing moves from just one Kido investment. |
| B | Vizard | Moves are decent, but the unlock cost (5 Shattered Hogyokus) is steep for limited depth. |
Hakuda is the strongest overall Skill Tree because it combines strong active moves with passive M1 damage scaling that benefits melee builds from early game all the way through endgame PvP, regardless of race. Speed is a close second and pairs especially well with Talents like Master of Speed and The Dancer that reward Flashstep-heavy play.

Ranking Methodology
Every ranking across all five categories weighs performance in both PvP and PvE. For Powers, the key factors are combo potential, Guardbreak frequency, mobility, and how well each moveset performs before and after unlocking its upgrade form (Bankai, Vollstandig, or Full Resurrection). Rarity was deliberately not treated as a proxy for quality.
Clan rankings follow the Posture > Reiatsu > Health priority because survivability and ability damage scale better throughout the entire game than raw HP. Talent rankings emphasize consistency in real fights — Talents that create tempo, reward defensive skill, or apply passive pressure rank higher than situational or one-note effects. Skill Tree rankings factor in stat investment cost, passive scaling, unlock friction, and performance from early access through late-game PvP.
Paradox's rerelease meta rewards players who understand that rarity labels are often misleading. Lightning, Heaven, Compressive Force, and Nodt are all lower-rarity options that outperform many Legendaries in practice. Spend your Ability Rerolls and Clan Rerolls wisely, lock in the S-tier options when you hit them, and don't be afraid to keep a strong Common or Rare while you save up for your next shot at a Legendary.
