NTE: How to Complete the Twin Blooms Anomaly Commission (Divergent Flower)

Find the three Divergent Flower packs southwest of Duskmoor's northern Rero Rero Phonebooth and clear them to close the commission.

Find the three Divergent Flower packs southwest of Duskmoor’s northern Rero Rero Phonebooth and clear them to close the commission.

The Twin Blooms is one of six Anomaly Commissions in Duskmoor, the region added in NTE version 1.3. It tasks you with tracking down three separate packs of the Divergent Flower Anomaly and defeating every one of them. Clearing the commission raises your Duskmoor exploration progress and hands out rewards such as Annulith, Anomaly Material Selection Boxes, U-00NE, Beetle Coin, and Hunter Level EXP.

Quick answer: Fast travel to the northern Rero Rero Phonebooth, head southwest into the forest north of Teardrop Lake, then find and kill all three groups of Divergent Flowers (ignore the holographic figures entirely) to complete the commission.

Twin Blooms Anomaly location in Duskmoor

The Divergent Flower packs sit in the forest clearing southwest of Duskmoor’s northern Rero Rero Phonebooth, north of Teardrop Lake between Raccoon Mountain Road and Aurifloresia Walk. Teleport to that waypoint and drive or run southwest until you reach an area dotted with red spider lilies and red-tinted plants. You will spot puppet-like holographic figures nearby, which marks the correct clearing.

You can also open the Anomaly Commission menu under Common Commission for Duskmoor, select Twin Blooms, and press Track Anomaly to place a waypoint straight to the zone.

How to complete the commission

Enter the clearing and ignore the holographic figures. They exist only to distract you and cannot take damage, so trying to fight them wastes time.
Look for the Divergent Flowers, which are split into three groups. Each pack is easy to identify by the pinkish, circular hue surrounding it on the ground.
Bring your team into a group and defeat every flower in it. The Divergent Flower releases hallucinogenic pollen during the fight, so expect hallucination effects while clearing them.
Move to the next pinkish patch and repeat until all three packs are down. The enemies here are around Level 60, and physical damage is the recommended way to eliminate them.

Divergent Flower Anomaly details

The Anomaly Nexus objective is to defeat the Divergent Flower in battle and destroy both of its heads. Each head behaves like a plant seed and can grow into a new Divergent Flower, which is why full clears are required.

The creature mixes plant and animal traits. It braces itself on a strong tail, swipes with weaker limbs at anything in range, and can sweep that tail in a wide arc, so keep moving during the fight.

How to confirm it is done and rewards

Once the third pack falls, a Twin Blooms – Nullification Complete banner appears on screen and the reward notices roll in. In the Wanderer or Travelogue menu, the Duskmoor Anomaly Commission counter ticks up by one toward the region’s total of six.

Completing the commission grants Duskmoor Footprint Points, Hunter Level EXP, Annulith, Anomaly Material Selection Boxes, U-00NE, and Beetle Coin. If the completion banner does not trigger, one flower pack is still alive, so return to the clearing and check for a remaining pinkish patch you may have skipped.
