Pet Store Tycoon, the build-and-run pet shop experience from already arrived studios, has leaned hard into live seasonal events this fall. This page is our running guide to what is live, what is coming next, and what just wrapped, with every date and start time laid out in plain terms. The game currently draws about 8,200 players at once and has pulled in about 16,000,000 visits and about 200,000 favorites.
As of October 22, the Halloween event headlines the calendar and runs through early November, while a new Farm Animals update is lined up to begin October 25. The schedule below shows the exact windows; the sections after it break down each event in turn. We update this page as the studio’s schedule changes.

Halloween event (live now)
The Halloween event is the marquee item on the calendar. It is the game’s festival-style seasonal push, run as live admin-hosted sessions — the sort of in-game free-for-all the studio bills under its “admin abuse” banner — layered on top of the holiday theming. It opened October 18 at 5:00 PM ET (4:00 PM CT, 2:00 PM PT) and is scheduled to stay open through roughly 1:00 PM ET on November 2, a longer run than the game’s usual weekly drops. With about 9,900 players marking interest, it is comfortably the most-anticipated item on the slate, and there is still over a week left before it closes. Farm Animals (upcoming)
Next up is Farm Animals, a new-content update the studio has confirmed is on the way. As the name suggests, it brings farm animals to the shop’s lineup. It is set to begin October 25 at 1:00 PM ET (12:00 PM CT, 10:00 AM PT) and run through November 1, overlapping the back half of the Halloween event. Interest is sitting at about 1,800 so far — a fraction of the Halloween turnout, which is what you would expect for a mid-size content drop next to a headline holiday event.
Recently wrapped
Two events closed out in the weeks just before Halloween. Something Lurks Below, a mystery-themed new-content event, ran October 10 to October 17 and drew strong interest of its own, in the same range as Halloween. Before that, the Reptiles update ran October 4 to October 11, adding new reptile pets alongside fresh enclosures and an extra floor to expand the store into.
Lined up end to end, those start dates — October 4, October 10, October 18, and October 25 — point to a roughly weekly rhythm of new events, so it is reasonable to expect another drop in the days after Farm Animals even though the studio has not named one yet.
