Quick answer: You already have it: Soul starts the game with the Healing Gourd. It restores 40% HP, and you can upgrade it with Remnant Dust and Healer’s Memories.

The gourd occupies the lower medicine slot from the beginning. On keyboard and mouse, press R to take a drink. Press T to drink from the upper slot. Touch or rest at a bell to refill its uses, and Healing Art gives Medicine one additional use.

The in-game description gives the gourd some background on its origins with the Order:

“A standard-issue gourd carried on Order missions, filled with secret medicine from the Serpent House that can heal wounds. Though Soul has left the Order, he still keeps one with him.”

Its starting effect reads “Restores 40% HP.”

How to upgrade the Healing Gourd

Before you upgrade, make sure you have one Healer’s Memory of the right tier and enough Remnant Dust for the level you want. The costs are listed in the table below.

Travel to the Green Serpent House in Pangzhen. Talk to Xie Xiaorong, who handles medicine upgrades.
Choose “Upgrade Medicine” from his options. This opens the upgrade screen for your medicines.
Select the Healing Gourd and confirm the upgrade. The game takes one Healer’s Memory and the listed Remnant Dust, and the gourd moves up one level.

You can also get the same upgrades at a bell. Open Upgrade Equipment, then go to the MEDICINES tab. The picture below shows it at a bell in Meigu Lake.

For each level, you need one Healer’s Memory and some Remnant Dust. Taking the gourd from its starting level up to Lv 7 uses 27,000 Remnant Dust altogether.

The upgrade screen numbers each level one lower than the table above. For example, Lv 2 appears as level 1 on screen, and the Lv 4 step appears as 2 to 3. To match a step on screen to the table, use the Healer’s Memory tier and Remnant Dust cost.

Where to get Healer’s Memories

Healer’s Memories can be found in the world. You can also buy all three tiers from Quick Hand Zhang:

Lv 2 and Lv 3 each need an Apprentice Memory, Lv 4 and Lv 5 each need a Skilled Memory, and Lv 6 and Lv 7 each need a Master Memory. Upgrading the gourd all the way therefore takes two Memories of each tier.
