The Mystery Gift feature unlocks after you complete the game’s opening tutorial. Once you have access to the main Champions menu, the process is straightforward.

When a code is accepted, a confirmation message appears on screen directing you to pick up your reward from the mailbox. If no message appears after selecting Confirm, check your entry for mistakes — codes are case-sensitive, so copying and pasting is the safest method.

Note: Your console must be connected to the internet to redeem codes. A Nintendo Switch Online membership is not required. Each code can only be claimed once per Nintendo account.
How to Get More Codes and Free Rewards
New Mystery Gift codes are typically released through the game’s official social channels, often tied to tournaments, live streams, and special events. Checking those channels regularly is the most direct way to catch codes as soon as they drop.
Outside of codes, Pokemon Champions has several built-in routes to free rewards. Finishing the tutorial and early missions rewards Victory Points, and both a free Dragonite and 100 Quick Coupons are automatically added to your in-game mailbox during the early access window. Progressing through the Battle Pass also unlocks extra Pokemon and items at no cost. Linking your save to Pokemon HOME lets you bring over compatible Pokemon you already own, expanding your roster without spending Victory Points on recruitment.
